In the end it truly did end up being a great year for ABZ. I doubt next year we'll be so lucky, as someone has to win these Slams and Djokovic won't cover alone without Fed and Dull.

There's always hope. Medvedev still has a better chance on hardcourts and Tsitsipas on clay. It's the grasscourt that will be most problematic.

I believed Zverev was a new player since the Olympics, and with his dominant performances to the semis, I really thought he was finally mentally ready to beat Djokovic at a slam. Wrong.

I've abandoned that loser ship. I've been proclaiming "Slam titles are inevitable for Zverev" since 2017. All there is to show all these years later is one massively choked slam final. My fandom deserves better.

Thanks for the explanation and honesty. You were by far his most vociferous and earliest fan here. I just hope you don’t don’t jump the ABZ ship if this tool ever wins a slam. Once an ABZ member, always one, and with smug and gleeful pride. In any case, glad you’re on board.
