As a Brit, I'm glad Boulter has a few wins under her belt and she's getting some much needed match play in before the AO. Playing Osaka in her 3rd match is going to be a great experience and I expect it'll be on a big court too. After the injuries of last year, she really deserves this and I'm glad it's her hard work is coming to fruition. I'm actually a huge Osaka fan, so I low-key want her to wind but as Katie's a Brit it's win-win for me!

I'm still bitter that Laura Robson was plagued by injuries - wins over Li, Kvitova and Clijsters stood her in good stead, but then she got wiped out. She definitely was a big prospect as a lefty with a big forehand, even if she was erratic, she was very young at her peak and many players nowadays settle into their mid-late 20s for their best results. Hoping Boulter is able to join Konta higher up the ranks.

I tended to see her more like new Maria Sharapova (but then her rise in the rankings stopped and reversed)! Personally I'm not into these very long legged "supermodels" , though Katie is definitely prettier than "Shriekapova". I hope she beats Osaka too... I really can't figure out why Osaka is so popular? :/ I hardly find anything to like.

Gotta love Kaia Kanepi... she once again returns from her endless injury-breaks and demolishes the most in-form player on the tour!
