Collins bagels Kalinina in the first set. Should she get through this match she'll likely face Serena. Think Danielle will thrive on that one...

Venus loves the tour and it is the only life she has known since she began at 14. Most players on the tour love the tour lifestyle: travel, practice, matches, fame, interviews, talking to others on the tour, etc... Why retire? She is single and still in the top 120! She create her own challenge reality show with Bronk as co-star. Bronk went back to playing, the rest is history! LOL!
I can answer that with a firm 'maybe'. Serena breaks right back, 3*-4.6-4 2-4*, can Buzarnescu win this set?
I read this and started watching the match.Serena has played an entire set, and not a single comment on TTW
Up 6-3 2-2, had two break points to go up 3*-2, but instead now facing three break points to go down 2-4* in the second. Edit: all saved, deuce! ...and one more... and break!
6-4 2-4*, can Buzarnescu win this set?
What a shot to take the second set.
The AO match between Osaka and Williams got a lot of comments on the match thread, but generally speaking very few people care about women's tennis, as can be seen on this forum - the first round match between Nadal and Popyrin got more comments than the entire women's tournament so far.Serena has played an entire set, and not a single comment on TTW

There is no proof. This forum is laughably smaller than TennisForum (WTA-based).Fallacious argument. That would suggest that this forum and its members somehow are reflective of the general tennis fan population. Where is your proof?
Sorry to give you homeworkI read this and started watching the match.
Whilst not possibly true of the general population, women's tennis rarely gets a mention at any tennis club I've played at.Fallacious argument. That would suggest that this forum and its members somehow are reflective of the general tennis fan population. Where is your proof?
It's funny, I didn't use to watch it, but for a while the grand slam courts were so fast that men's matches seemed like a bit of a serve contest. That's when I discovered women's tennis with actual (gasp) rallies. But also 6-1 2-6 6-0 scorelines. You win some you lose someWhilst not possibly true of the general population, women's tennis rarely gets a mention at any tennis club I've played at.
The exceptions being something controversial or a local player doing well.

That was quite possibly the worst decision-making I've seen from Serena in years. For about 30 straight seconds, she had the chance to put it away. And she made it a practice session. Her body's quickly catching up to herAh ah ah. Buzarnescu moonballing the s**t outta that ball and winning the point with a drop. Pretty neat.

Lucky you, I foolishly am rooting for Bianca, Amanda, Nao.. I mean "she who shall not be discussed" and Sloane. To calm my nerves I've decided to also root for IgaThe couple of players l dislike lose more often than not, which just increases my enjoyment.
Watched the Bencic match highlights and Kasatkina looks legit - though youtube highlights from one match probably isn't enough to reach that conclusion. Lol.
I always forget about Bencic and always surprised how high she's ranked because she never seems to do anything. I must overlook her week to week.

You can get offended but I'm just stating facts. Men's tennis is more popular among tennis fans and the general public.Fallacious argument. That would suggest that this forum and its members somehow are reflective of the general tennis fan population. Where is your proof?
Really liked Radwanska and Safarova. Just enjoyed how they played. There, there. My three favourite players used to be Radwanska, Bencic and Safarova. I know the pain (I might even know it better than you, actually ). But I'm also developing a soft spot for Kenin (she's a brat, but when she's on, she can be an amazing counter-puncher), Sabalenka (I'm usually not big on big babe tennis and I'm not fond of all that screaming, but she's a cool cat) and Swiatek (great game, great composure and seems an all-around decent person). Andreescu might be an interesting prospect to follow, but I'm a Del Potro fan too. There's only so much "always injured" suffering I can take.
Pulling for the underdog, Li! 4-3 Li!What is up with Svitolina giving out the bagel, and now in the midst of receiving one.
