If it's injury.. Anyway I'm disappointed because he took out Hurkacz and others and now he's losing so badly.

The ever savvy BrainGameTennis Craig O’Shannessey called the facts today on Twitter: IW’s heavy grit, ball degradation and shot tolerance have combined to produce an amazing stat: there have been more backhands hit than forehands. This figure is never even close to 50-50 at any other venue.

Really hoping Grigor can push back here. Norrie in the finals of a Masters would be really a sad day for Tennis with his limited game

As long as Grigor keeps this to one break he has a shot.

In the other semi who has a better chance of Norrie wins? I am thinking they can both beat him but I would back Fritz to be sure

Apparently Norie is moving to the 10th position in the race to Turin if he wins this match.. That is with Rafa out...

There is fight, but still feels inevitable. So far Norrie is not struggling with Dimitrov's mixing. Hope I am wrong.

Norrie already played 5 finals this season while Ruud has a flawless 5-0 record. Who knew lol...

If Grigor had a better serve I'd still give him a chance. But he's having to waste way too much energy holding today when already behind in the score.

I predicted Norrie in 2 despite rooting for Dimitrov to win the match ): Looks like my prediction will likely come true ):

Now can Fritz win or will smiley Niolas Basilashvili win it? Rooting for Fritz but IDK which way that one will go...

I literally have no idea how these two have reached the semifinals. Just terrible from both. Dimitrov and Norrie just have no weapons. Don't know how they got this far.

Norrie is playing well enough to win the tournament. We'll have to see what happens in the second semi (and of course Grigor could make a spectacular comeback but I doubt it)...

Dimitrov will win this, we now enter the stage of the match when he enters God mode.

Grigor's forehand CAN be a weapon, but he is a little afraid to use it this match I think. Been mishitting it a lot, probably because he feels like he has to go for too much with how much of a backboard Cam has been.

Top quality point! Norrie hit a great inside out forehand off a deep slice in the corner and then Dimitrov just pulled the trigger down the line.

No break though.

Dimitrov gets surprisingly few easy points on serve. He could go high 130s routinely back when he was making the second weeks of slams regularly but it always seemed like he had to work for every hold

He’s nearly in the final so he could win it but mainly because all the big guns are out.

Realistically Fritz should win the tournament

Right two more chances for Grigor to break back last chance saloon but I still have him winning this in 3

Ok, I just looked at the scores (haven't paid much attention to this tournament until now). It looks like Norrie got really fortunate with the way his draw developed. He didn't really play anyone with weapons yet. Dimitrov is having one of those tournaments that he has every few years where he plays lights out for a couple matches... and then goes back to his old self.

And then on the other side, Basilashvili and Fritz. Wow. Indian Wells looking like a 250 at this point. Nobody in the Top-20 even making the semi-finals?

This is a very Captain Obvious statement, but Norrie has done such a good job keeping the ball in the court today. Not taking any risks not worth the reward and absorbing Grigor's ball every time he increases the pace. Just blocking everything back inside the lines during the rallies.

Basil Fawlty envisions it as a 500 with an extra round. Before Rublev began his run at King of 500s last year there was a time that every Basil title was a 500 (Hamburg 2x and Beijing).
