I have a ticket but I love Shapo, Schwartzman, FAA, Medvedev, Tsistipas, Berrettini, Ruud... I think it will be fun!
Me too. And I can’t wait. My doubles partner and I are going. When we bought the tickets the goal was to see Federer but there are more than enough top players that I’m not that disappointed.

Sure for a normal ticket price at an ATP 500/1000 maybe, but the good tickets are 1,500-5k a piece! I only bit the bullet at the chance to see the Maestro play one time in person before he rides off into the sunset.
I’d be bummed out as well. I’d still try to enjoy the experience, since they’re all amazing players (especially with Med now being a slam champion) and they’ll probably make an entertaining show out of it.

What is the covid policy? Do I need to do something more than just bring my proof of covid vaccinations card and wear a mask? I have a ticket to the Laver Cup.

I think proof if vaccine is all. It says OR, so I don't think vaccinated people need the daily or PCR test.

From laver cup website:
All event attendees, age 12 and older, must provide upon entry for each session:

proof of full COVID-19 vaccination* (with the final vaccine dose being at least 14 days prior to the session date being attended);
OR
proof of a negative COVID-19 ‘Antigen’ test (within 24 hours prior to the session being attended);
OR
proof of a negative COVID-19 ‘PCR’ test taken no earlier than September 22,

Thanks. So I will be fine and don't need anything else.

Tsitsipas has a foot injury. Looks like Cam Norrie is replacing him. Too bad. Part of the ticket price was for the interactions between him and Sascha and Daniil.

Darn I was looking forward to heckling him about bathroom breaks. I don't see anything online about him being out though.

No I don’t either. The part about the foot injury was from a translated Greek article and the part about Cam Norrie in Laver Cup from a British one.

I think Federer set the parameters and skewed it for Europe from the beginning. Most of the best players come from there. If it keeps going like this and World keeps losing, it will lose any credibility it ever had/has. Also, I question whether John McEnroe is much of a coach. I thought he would be dynamite, but he's not done well with player selection or coaching. Mind you, Europe has the better players, so he has the harder job. I question whether they'll keep him after this year if World loses yet again. It's becoming a sad story.

So is Tssitipas in or out ?
In the tournament but in the picture of them at dinner that’s on Twitter, he’s all the way at the back of the table by himself. Doesn’t exactly play well with others. Med is way at the front and Zverev also at the other end. Cam Norrie is there as my Brit friend said, but not sure why.
