2021 Medvedev vs 2005 Federer Slam comparison

AO
-Medvedev displayed magnificent form throughout the tournament only to lose in the final against the AO Goat Djokovic ( no shame in that)
-Federer okay form until the SF where he choked badly against Safin.
Advantage: Medvedev

FO
- Medvedev- quite good until the QF where he was beaten handily by the Greek god Tsitsipas
- Federer beaten in the SF by the young clay prodigy Nadal
Advantage: Federer

Wimbledon
-Medvedev struggling somewhat throughout the tournament beaten narrowly by the talented grass court player Hurkacz.
- Federer winner of the tournament. Good form although as always not tested enough in the later rounds by his regular pigeons Roddick and Hewitt. Those guys were playing like they were happy just to share the same court with Federer.

Advantage Federer

US Open
Medvedev winner of the tournament, in extraordinary form throughout the whole event, beating in the final the HC Goat Djokovic in easy 3 sets and thus preventing the historical CYGS.

Federer winner of the tournament, okay form throughout, although struggling strangely against his pigeon Hewitt in the SF, and against Agassi vin the Final who himself had trouble moving in the final, after back to back grueling 5 set matches in the QF and SF.

Advantage clearly Medvedev

So all in all its 2-2 in Slams between these two imo.

If Novak played as poor as his fans say he did on Sunday, he would've lost to Hewitt & Agassi too.
I think we tend to romanticise the past quite heavily on this forum. Hewitt was nothing special form wise, and Agassi was on his last legs in the final anyway. I think 21 Medvedev would be having much more easier time against those 2 than Fed had in 2005.

No idea...maybe they did not...
Yes, NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID errors whenever I open a new TTW page

Web development is not my field but I think their SSL certificate, which provides browsers authentication of identity and secure connection , symbolised by the lock you see beside the url, has expired.

I may be wrong, but that can actually turn out to be a problem if not sorted early.

Yes
If SSL certificate expires then we are at risk.
Probably a hacker like beckerserve who hates TTW and bashes @Hitman on twitter can have all of our IDs, bank details and many stuffs hacked since the connection is not secure and cookies shared will have all the details on it.
So if you use internet banking on your mobile and login TTW with it then you are at risk. Administrators need to sort this out quickly IMO.

haha, he is watching TTW, so he would know anyway and you have tagged him too :D
He is saying on twitter that his thread on Nadal having more USOs than Novak is not getting enough replies after Novak's loss at the USO21.
