Medvedev raised his level for the semi like a true champion and I expect him to keep it tomorrow. Novak would have to start GOATing like in the AO final which I don't see happening. Great tournament overall though, way better than what we got last year.

Everything favors him tomorrow: he's 9 years younger, he's coming off the USO smack down of Novak and Djokovic had a much longer semi. Those things usually don't matter against Novak, but considering he hasn't played since the USO, Med really should take this.

Not too upset. The prospect of Novak Djokovic winning a tennis match repulses her to such an extent that she's incapable of sitting through his tennis matches due to excessive nerves. Hasn't watched a Djokovic match in years for that very reason apparently, its far too stressful for her/him. She/he won't be watching, just following via livescore and catching the replay if Djokovic happens to lose. Insane stuff.

Which basically means Novak will take it. Not that it matters, it's just the least important APT 1000.
You will see Novak on fire in AO 2022 I think.

I agree with this. From what I have seen today, I think Medvedev in 2. But if there is a tie break or it goes to 4-4 in a third set, I think Djokovic takes it.

I expected an easier win for Djokovic today because of Hurkacz's difficulties against Koepfer and Duckworth, but the Polish clearly raised his game. It reminds me every matches are different. Djokovic always struggled in early rounds of Masters but can raise his level in the end. Even his last title in Paris was a good reminder. His matches vs Edmund and Moutet seemed harder than Dimitrov, Tsitsipas and Shapovalov. Nothing guarantees Medvedev will keep the same level either and Djokovic could also play better. He has reached the #1 goal so the pressure he had today will be gone tomorrow, he might play more relaxed. Plus when he is not the favorite of a match, the pressure is more on his opponent's shoulder. This year there was only 1 match in which Djokovic was not favorite: Nadal in RG. And that's when he played his best match of the year. So, I don't count him out.

I think the 1st set will be crucial. If Djokovic wins it IMO he wins in 3. If Medvedev wins it then he wins in 2.

Pretty neutral. Maybe slightly towards Novak because of the Masters total but it's a totally different situation to the Slam finals they played.

This will be a third night in a row with zero sleep as we are royally screwed here in Australia with the time difference (match begins at 1:00 AM). Medvedev is in a really impressive form at the moment, so it will be a tough match for Djokovic. I learned over the years to not discount Djokovic so expecting him to really give it a go.. Looking forward to the match...
