unless Rafa and Novak play a 5 hour match honestly no... But I'll comment on it again after the Semis actually happen.
Fair enough. They are playing pretty well but I guess we can’t gauge their form properly yet until a bigger test.

I cannot see past Nadal winning easy again to be honest. Would be nice to see a more competitive final though. Although I hope djoko can put up a fight if he makes it to SF.

At least NextGen are now regularly beating those below them. We'll have one of them in another Slam final. Perhaps a better business end of tournaments will soon follow.

I think meddy might win tonight. Wouldn’t bet on it but think the mental edge he has could help him. Will be a fascinating match though. I think whoever wins tonight will have their hands full with zverev though. It could a long QF and long SF after

Same exact mindset. Definitely not betting on it. I actually lean towards Medvedev and I see Zverev beating either of them

I feel the zverev v Meddy/Tsitsipas semi could be a long one. It could go 4 hours or so. There’s not much between any of them. Same for tonight, 2 blockbuster next gen battles ahead.
Great to see best next gen guys making consistent deep runs at Slam and Zverev seems in top form to me, last 2 sets again was very good. I think he has good chance against either of Tsitsipas/ Meddy although he would prefer Medvedev mire I think on clay

Davidovic Fokina is a very low bar for a big match.

Indeed. But he's never had a QF in a slam where he gets to play the role of big daddy. Usually it's a bit of a struggle. Will be good for his confidence.

Think Nole matches up better against Sascha, Rafa matches up better against Stef. Wishful thinking but my dream Nole Sascha final is still on.

Agree - that's my dream final too given current draw
I never really know where I stood with Zverev in the past but it's good he is a consistent force in Slams now

Zverev looks extremely dangerous. Never expected him to play this efficiently. Seems like he has really matured. Exciting lineup of QFs and SFs ahead.

It could be his time who knows? Djokovic and Nadal both spoke in past saying they think zverev is the most likely no1 who can dominate the sport.

We will see. I think all 3 next gen are in good form right now and stepping up. It’s good for the game.

I said this on Sunday as well: he has gotten very good at playing inside his comfort zone and realizing it is enough to dominate lesser opponents.
Zverev is pretty imperious when he knows his opponent isn’t going to beat him with passing shots or ever be able to outhit him from the baseline. It’s comfort zone tennis and it looks pretty damn tough and repeatable when he’s not forcing things.

what Zverev has yet to realize is he can do this vs better players as well..

4 sets, 5 sets or 3 sets?
I was initially picking Nadal in 4.
But given the match is in the night, I'm thinking Nadal in 5 sets. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Novak won as well.

4 sets at worst for Nadal, if he is going to drop a set, it will be in the semi to Djokovic. If not, then its straights all the way.

Tsitsipas has looked garbage all tournament, struggling against nobodies. Medvedev has looked the best of everyone i've watched in this half but either player today would crush Tsitsipas with the way he has played.

Not that Tsits is a true lock to win any match the way the Big 3 are, but I think we're watching a different tournament. He was very good against Isner and PCB. I honestly don't know what your deal is with this. You tried to tell us he was playing horrible in the Isner match because he struggled to hold serve 2-3 times and he beat Isner handily in the end, and then he routined PCB. I don't get you.

Courier picked Novak over Nadal on the tennis channel - says night conditions will help Novak.
I don't know if I agree with him, but I do feel that the match will be a lot closer than most people think.
RG 2020 F was an anomaly, as much as AO 2019 F was.
