Peak for peak? Zverev wins. He’s a demon when he’s on formTsitsipas vs Zverev in the SF, both play at the best they can, who wins ?
4 years ago we thought his best surface was grass, then we thought it was hard and now it’s clay. He has potential to be a varied player.
Zevrev is impressing me here
Looks like Zedzilla is in great form. What has that got to do with this match?
He was beating Fed at Halle and his best slam result in 2017 was at Wimbledon.

I think Zverev he sometimes can find that zone which is too much for anyoneTsitsipas vs Zverev in the SF, both play at the best they can, who wins ?
I have noticed as night goes on the court slows down massively. That will affect ZUh no. Nishikori won't win, he has no weapons except Zverev's double faults which he can not control, so lost
If Zverev plays like he is tonight cannot see anyone stopping him. Where is the weakness? FH looks a weapon! 2nd serve spits up viciouslyI think djokovic in final won't find it easy with either Zverev/Tsitsipas but Tsitsipas single handed backhand might be exploited in the final a lot and may breakdown but with Zverev match could be on his racquet if he is serving well and dictating play like he does when firing on full cylinders
He went 1 round further at Wimby than he did at the AO, but it was only the 4R. He’s 0-2 in grass Fs. No one at any point thought that grass was his strongest surface. He was beating Fed at Halle and his best slam result in 2017 was at Wimbledon.
The problem with Zverev is he can look unbeatable agaisnt weak opposition, being ruthless, serving like Sampras, peppering his BH.
But when he face tough opposition with weapons who can pressure him (the Big 3, Medvedev), he retreat into his shell and start to serve poorly and pushing like no tomorrow or ballbashing.
Against Nadal at Rome, he had an awful start and wasted any opportunities he had.

This is a frightening displayPeak for peak? Zverev wins. He’s a demon when he’s on form
He did beat Nadal in Madrid though. He can deliver against the best if things click. Medvedev / Zverev H2H is also pretty even
Would have love to see him against thiem here but he crashed out early. He has played nobody up to this point. His next opponent isn’t exactly great either. This RG has been a snooze fest. You haven’t seen many great matches.

The problem is grand slams! We have seen a bunch of these guys beat novak and nadal but do it when it counts!
If by some miracle Nadal wins this, it might be his greatest slam win.
Madrid is a glorified " red hardcourt " who enhance Zverev serve.
At Rome and on Philippe Chatrier, different story.

I have seen many say Medvedev game similar to djokovic but it's Zverev who reminds me of djokovic when he is playing like this as djokovic isn't just a baseline pusher but quite a good offensive player when in full flow similar with Zverev but Zverev needs to be consistent in implementing this gamestyle

His reach is a major reason as don't think he moves like a djokovic but a solid mover with his height enables him to retrieve basically anythingThe thing i worry about zverev is his height. I am very surprised at how he moves for a guy that’s 6’6. There’s usually players that expose these big tall players.
Of course, that's what we're all waiting to see - he'll probably get there at some point but it's happening quite a few years after we originally thought it would happen.
Not sure though. They faced the better version of Big 4 than Next-Gen.That Dimitrov/Raonic/Nishikori generation sure was bad. LOL
