If all you can see in this particular game is 'MUGS' is pretty sad. They have been pretty poor today but come on. That last game was really exciting - Zverev having massive cohones to save 4 MPs and win a game on his racket.

If you're going to criticize them at least have the respect to praise when they do play well and show character.

I was a bit nervous at the end, particularly when Tsitsipas missed that FH for 0-15, but Stefanos did a great job closing it out.

Commiserations to Zverev who played some good stuff after the first two sets but couldn't get it done in the end.

It's not great tennis, but it's not awful tennis either and it's certainly not insult-the-player terrible. That 4-match point game was pretty epic.

The match as a whole wasn’t great quality. That’s where the problems begin. Only in the end you saw some good things.

Sure but saving 4 MPs in the way he did takes extremely strong mentality, and Tsitsipas serving out the match did so flawlessly. That is literally the opposite of mug behavior.

What I mean is that you guys overuse the term mug in situations that don't call for it. They are still way inferior to the Big 3 but the last set was good.
