Idk about that. Med is goofy too. I could see this one being very close.

Med has barely spent any time on court. And this guy has played for like 50hrs. And there’s not one thing he does better than Med.

Very hard to imagine him winning more than 4 games in a set against Med.

I can definitely see a tiebreaker set. Since when is Daniil this great returner?

Are you kidding? He is the 5th best ranked in return games won % on hard this year for players that have played a decent amount of matches at ATP level. He is at 30.64%

I never saw Diego dominating in this match. He should have done that because of ranking. He just lost because VdZ did not choke.
Hard loss for Diego.
Same a Karatsev, VdZ will be going back to his natural habitat once this is over. Diego looked like a very limited player today.

Zandschulp has made me a fan even though he'll get trounced by Medvedev. Zandschulp is not a colorful player but he's very solid and gets a lot of balls back in an entertaining fashion.

Very nice looking forehand and slice. 2 handed BH leaves a lot to be desired though.

The hole he fell in was very deep to get out. VdZ won because he did not give up. That would have been the only way Diego would have made it.

It was his serve imo. Against Anderson he served pretty well & was holding fairly quickly. Today, it seemed like he couldn’t buy a 1st serve. He just didn’t really do anything to win today. And Botic didn’t break down & start spraying UEs.

Different strokes, different folks - but the majority wouldn't agree with you. Even if you look online discussion threads, she is said to be pretty plain. Even if Novak were not a top tennis player, he could have had a nicer looking partner given how he looks himself.
