Gifted game.
iIt's incredible how you can tell the exact moment he starts unravelling.
There's always a pattern lately.
He starts playing too cute because he has a huge lead, misses, plays too safe the next couple of points, loses them, and then unravels at breakpoint.

Tallon left guessing on return, really hasn't got that much of a read at all. Novak staring down some fans afterwards? Two sets to none.

Apparently Djokovic loses some service games just to boost his re-break efficiency stat.

The only part of Djokovic's game that has ben A+ in the 1st two rounds is his lobs. Must have won 100% of points once he hits one.

This guy peaked in the wrong era. Especially with that last name.

This new Djokovic serve would be unfair if it didn't disappear for large portions of every match and if he didn't double fault quite often.
Amazing serve when it works. If he would consistently make it, no one would be able to beat him. Too bad for him that it comes and goes...

I personally don't think we can really judge his level until the 4th round when he most likely faces Karatsev. Then the Zverev semi if it happens will be the toughest match for him. Hopefully someone knocks out Zverev before the semis. :sneaky:
Not likely. Zverev is powering through thus far..

I like that they are showing forced error stats. I used to see that a long time ago. But I don’t recall it so much lately.

I’m not reading anything into Zverev. He’s always done well against lower ranked players. guy even won WTF. I think Djokovic takes care of him in four.

Where Goran?

Novak is irresistible. Feels like you are watching a real champion after all the midgets during the day. If Novak can maintain and exceed his level in week 2 - he might win without losing a set in the rest of the championship.

@Kralingen - you need to stop hyping up all the mugs. Look what happened to HH. You were saying he was going to beat Matteo and challenge Novak. The Polish dude lost to Seppi. So pathetic...
