After dropping the first set, Schwartzman is back on form, littering the court with drop shot winners.

Tiafoe with another convincing win today. How far can he go? I think he can handle Khachanov if he keeps playing this way
His level is high, reminiscent of AO’19. The bottom of the section after KK is tough though…Evans will play the Korda/Hoang winner. Hoang won’t get through both Korda and Evans. I think he could beat Korda from experience and more grass skills. Evans would be a real test. Brummie Dan seems locked and loaded.

Yeah the draw really is awful, I mean different sections are just night and day in terms of level

Sections 3 & 7 are full of land mines. #7 has four of the original 7 grass tournament champions still alive along with the recent Queen’s finalist Norrie. Mannarino is done along with Sugita and Pouille but fedr plays Gasquet, Sonego plays a CC specialist Galan before a 3R vs either in form Sam Q of tricky Duckworth. If form holds, 3R Norrie might be a lot for creaky fedr to handle.

Yes, and sections 6 and 8 also have some solid players, at least 3 of those per section at the moment. Sections 1,2,5 are absolute jokes

OK, i admit it Seb Korda is more exciting than the demon and i am glad he's going thru the draw. and i can see his father peter yelling at him for no reason.... that's fun too

Check out Korda getting it done. That RG r1 defeat, he bounced back great.

I think they're just three matches behind in the top half. That ain't so bad considering all the rain during the first two days.

wow, nice to see Nishioka just make it past Isner. Talk about one of the biggest height differences in the tournament.

His pre-match thoughts on his yt channel. (here)

#2 seed Medvedev AGAIN on court 1. Fed gets center court again even though he did not have to play a 5th set in his previous match.
Medvedev vs Struff was an amazing match in R1 - possibly the highest quality match of the tournament. It was on court 1 and the next one would be too.

It's PATHETIC. It's an scandal, it's an disgrace, it's a outrage!!

SHAME to Wimbledon organizers.

They also put Gauff on Centre Court before Fed's match. Maybe they need to preserve the grass for later next week.

In this case, I agree, Mad Lad was to play at Center Court instead of Coco Gauff. Coco Gauff has so far failed to do anything so remarkable compared to Medvedev to deserve the Center Court.

Let’s see: I’m Wimby schedule maker and I can choose one men’s match on Centre Court. Do I pick the match between a teenager with one SW19 win vs a highly ranked player who sadly has never made it past our 3R. Or, I could choose to feature an 8x champion vs another veteran with two runs to our SFs. What to do, what to do? I know! Give the people what they want instead of honoring the clown that threw coins at a referee in a previous fail here.

fedr be living rent-free in some peeps’ heads.

Tennys on grass is not an ideal combo, being way too defensive against Zedraffe’s service. 7-5 Zed.

I see Yoxoi is his new kit maker. Evans left them last year; is Bublik still with them? Looks very high tech from their website explanation.

Wow! I guess playing a five-set match vs Isner leaves the winner sapped the next day. Nishioka won three games today vs grassGOATing Bedene. Probably couldn’t reach for a loaf of bread on a top shelf at the grocery store.

Zverev seems to be giving madrid vibes to me ,his game is deadly when he is serving well and at Wimbledon he certainly can do that

If Zed matches his seeding he will complete the SF Chunnel Slam.

Still in disbelief he let Big Mo on his side evaporate at RG vs Citypass.

This is just the 4th time in Zverev's career he made a slam 3R without dropping a set. He's played 23 slams, 16 of which he's been a top 10 player.

Dude loves going 4 or 5 sets early on.

Damn it's the day of the Aussie chokers.

Polmans led 5-2 in the first set only to lose it against Garin.
Bolt led Norrie 3-0 in the first only to lose the next 6 games to lose it
Duckworth won the first against Querrey but now it's a set each

Zverev a win away from returning to the top five.

The US Open is going to be super interesting this year with four of the top six all defending title or final points (Medvedev, Nadal, Thiem, and Zverev).
