As expected they did NOT finish the match today. It was destined from the beginning.Hope they can finish the match on Court 1 or Centre Court.
Very nice match so far. Hubi is a pretty tough cookie.

Bs ruleAt Wimbledon, matches in progress are not moved to a court other than the one on which they were started. That is why the whole Isner-Mahut match took place on Court 18 and the final part of the match didn't take place at the Center Court or Court 1.
Who cares important thing is that extremely popular world Nr 23 Coco Gauff, who even remotely is not as boring as Meddy, could play on CC again! As expected they did NOT finish the match today. It was destined from the beginning.
Because they wanted to screw over Medvedev and play him on consecutive days. This is not so hard to understand. It was designed that way from the beginning by not putting him on show courts. What makes Wimbledon's decision even stranger is that they have shoved the Med match on centre court first thing tomorrow. Why could they simply not have let them finish tonight with roof closed as i suspect it will be raining tomorrow and roof will be closed anyway.
I don't think there's special screening and from what I heard, they have just blacked out the rear most seating, so despite having 50% seating, they're all bunched up front, making it look full capacity.
Meddy match first thing tomorrow is fine. The winner needs to wrap it up fast because he need to play the next day. What makes Wimbledon's decision even stranger is that they have shoved the Med match on centre court first thing tomorrow. I saw fifth set of Felix's match against Sascha yesterday, and I didn't see Toni in Felix's box. Toni is clearly not a full-fledged coach, but a distance consultant. Is Toni present on FAAs matches here?
correctAny ideas for Day 9 Order of Play?
My guess:
Centre Court
earlier Djokovic vs Fucsovics
later Federer vs Hurkacz
No.1 Court
earlier Khachanov vs Shapovalov
later Berrettini vs FAA
LMAO back to back double faults from Zverev and people mock the WTA?
Brasso sales in both Glasgow and Wroclaw will soar!Medvedev got his 15 minutes. He doesn't live up to the expectations.
Good season so far for Polished Murray!
FAA was never going to be up for this match mentally, I hate to say itWe don't have a thread for the 4th QF, lol. Maybe with good reason, Berrettini up an early break and Felix does not look good. Double faults to give Berrettini 15-40.
Could be over very fast.
Yeah, was lucky that Kyrgios had **** match fitness and that he faced a bigger choker in the previous round.FAA was never going to be up for this match mentally, I hate to say it
He's playing 4-d chess out there. lmaoLol classic move by Matteo, got broken to break for the set so he can serve first the next one
Stuff like that is exempt if it's for medical reason. Same reason Fritz was allowed to wear black knee sleeve.Given how strict Wimbledon are about clothing, how has Mateo got away with those black ankle pads?
And Shapo’s ankle braces.Stuff like that is exempt if it's for medical reason. Same reason Fritz was allowed to wear black knee sleeve.
Yeah but he's dropped serve 4 times I think.Well well well. Felix is holding his own, huh...
Felix looks very settled. No discernible amplitudes in his demeanor. I like it.I still need my bearings to find my meat to the tournament thread instead of searching for a match thread. True Rodney Dangerfield roles for Felix and Matteo!
Matteo had dropped a level from 5-1 first set, no? Felix will be tough if he doesn’t keep focus.
Big difference from the first set. Meanwhile Berrettini is throwing in tons of errors.Felix looks very settled. No discernible amplitudes in his demeanor. I like it.
Yes, and it's easy to reduce Berrettini to just the bombing serves whilst the man has surprisingly soft hands. Great matchup of styles, imo.Big difference from the first set. Meanwhile Berrettini is throwing in tons of errors.
Helps when you can save break points with 135mph serves though.
I was watching fedr mash things up during this first set and was surprised Matteo opened up that lead. Their Stuttgart’19 final was always in doubt, being played before Felix firmly established his horror show finals trend.Big difference from the first set. Meanwhile Berrettini is throwing in tons of errors.

Where did HH beat him?Who are trivia freaks to know this answer:
Berry is 20-2 in grass matches since 2019. Who are the pair to beat him?
