Federer 1-0 Hurkacz
Federer 1-0 Hurkacz

24 year old meets 39 year old in a Slam Quarter Final, no way the pressure is on the 39 year oldI think HH takes the match 3-2. I think HH has no pressure, …..

Easiest QF of Roger’s career he must be laughing hysterically. Federer in 3 easy sets
Could be a really good match. Fed in 4 or Hurkules in 5.
Whoa, do posters race to see who can be the first to create a thread?![]()
Actually they could play in the final.too bad Hurkacz isnt playing Khachanov. they’d make for a great rivalry name "Hurkaczanov"
by that logic if Fed doesn’t finish the match in 4 and it goes to 5, Hurkacz is suddenly the favorite?
It's a kind of sport competitionWhoa, do posters race to see who can be the first to create a thread?![]()
HH is good but has no idea what is coming for him tomorrow. He’s not going to beat Federer at the net like he did today. He might win a set but serve will fall apart with pressure similar to Sonego’s.
Fedovic final is happening, everyone.
Yeh I'd say 70% Fed wins and if it goes to 5 I'll favour the young legs.
All the pressure is on him. It’s about the Slam record, and it’s about taking any chances for him if he wants to have an overall chance.24 year old meets 39 year old in a Slam Quarter Final, no way the pressure is on the 39 year old
I expect HH to be way better than Sonego though, I was disappointed by the Italian yesterday, unable to defend on BH side, unable to attack, he played below his ranking IMO.
Fedovic both look impressive sure, but I am waiting to see them against a really, legit good opponent that would be a test for them
Unless the 39 year old is called Roger Federer…24 year old meets 39 year old in a Slam Quarter Final, no way the pressure is on the 39 year old
This is a danger match and also will tell us where Federer is in terms of form. I would put Hurkacz as the slight favorite here, but it is definitely a winnable match for Fed. If he successfully gets past QF, that will confirm Fed is at 80-90% of his optimal form at this stage of his career, which will be good enough to be competitive against either Berrenttini or FAA. Fed needs to get into rhythm fast and early. He can't afford to take too much time to settle into his rhythm and let the match get away quickly. The key will be his serve and return.
funniest thing is to be focused only on odds, you should know this if you're a betting person in the first place, same odds were on zebrev vs felix and where's he now, even more heavy favs (-500) were rublev and medved in their 1/8 matches and where are they now etc.Funniest thing I’ve ever read. Federer has come out as a 3-1 (-300) favorite, giving little respect to Hurkacz Bc Vegas knows he’s WEAK. Yet you favor Hurkacz. Hysterical, really
Fed really got saved here I think. I think he would have lost to Medvedev, but I suppose it’s not set in stone considering Med mugged it up later on in the match.
I think Fed wins in four, but I probably shouldn’t underestimate Hurkacz.

my point is everyone has their thoughts and opinions and for him hurkacz is slight fav and it's ok and no need to be nervous about it at all, and not everyone thinking about it by odds categories alsoYes and those were huge upsets also. What’s your point? My point is logical people know that Federer is a strong favorite against this guy

ok, what will you tell if fed losing it?Fair enough. Well I will end this by saying he’s highly delusional and this is an easy straight sets win for Federer with absolutely no sign of trouble
I am going against the grain and giving credit to Hurkacz.Federer in 4! I think Hurkacz might get a set. If he serves like he’d did on the resumption today against Meddy it possible. However, I don’t see him taking 3 on feds favourite surface.
