No I don't. I'm just stating the facts. Fact is, he hasn't done **** this year. He played Novak close at ATP Cups the last two years, and almost beat Rafa in Barca. Props. Every time I watch him, he gets hot and crushes it for an hour, then starts spraying balls everywhere. I don't know if he suddenly stopped doing that the last few weeks, but going 5 sets against Kohls and Khachanov doesn't inspire confidence. Hubie going through Med and Fed is a tougher task. Like I said, anyone can win on any given day, but I understand the Shapo hype less than the Bearrettini. I completely understand why you guys are saying this, because it's Denis on the other side of the net, not Hubie and Bear. I also totally prescribe to the notion that anyone can beat anyone. I'm just finding it hard to believe he has fundamentally changed his game in 3-4 weeks. I do think it's on Novak's racquet. If he comes out flat and Shapo is crushing it, then the latter has a great chance.
Edit: I guess I just don't understand why people think he is a future #1. I know that's not what you're saying, but I'm more trying to understand, not hate everything someone says that isn't pro djokovic. if you look at my posts. I've been criticizing Novak's play quite a bit
