Yep and did better in 2004 and 2009 than Murray would have IMO. As I said though, it's a subjective opinion.

Congratulations to the Italian for making his first slam Final.

Italy in the Euro Cup final. And Italy with Matteo in the Wimbledon final. What a Sunday for Italy!

Let's hope that Italy can do something in the Euro Cup Final, to get over the heartbreak/beatdown Matteo will face on Sunday.

not really. Fed took toilet break at end of set 1 and came back within time (as per rule). then went down a break and was facing BP for going double break down. So toilet break did nothing to halt momentum.
Fed turned it around with change of tactics - slicing&dicing more, hitting more at davy than away from him (davy was hitting really well on the run)
 
Berrettini would be the fave for me vs Shap (If that even has a chance of happening) because the latter has a garbage return of serve.
 
Berrettini/Tomljanovic the tennis super couple right now. Modern day Hewitt/Clijsters.

Monfils/Svitolina wish they were as successful as this but neither have accomplished what these two did this tournament..
 
There it is. Berrettini in the final as predicted. Djok must win the next one and then BH Berrettini to the Moon.

It was embarrasing performance by Federer but hurkacz took advantage .
 
Well done to Matteo, let's hope we get a good match in the final. Ofc this would be more likely if his opponent is Denis
 
I tell you what, if Berrettini plays and serves like this in the final it will take an outstanding performance to overcome him. Even if Novak does make it to final he will have to play out of his skin as Matteo looks almost unbreakable.

I am glad i had a wee £20 on him just after he won Queens because right now it is looking pretty good.

Unless they bring Wawrinka back from the dead or Nadal or Fed from the 2000`s I just don`t.
And I hope I`m wrong.
 
I feel Berrettini's chances are great in the final. After confidently serving out the match to make his first slam final, he didn't do the fall-to-the-ground OMG-I-DID-IT celebration. He knows there's more work to be done, and one more match to win before he does that.

Yeah. I thought Berr could, but watching the match today it was obvious to me that there’s no way he can trouble Novak. You need amazing movement on grass to trouble Novak.

He didn't get mauled as by time match was in 4th set Novak was really finding him a handful and it is much easier for Novak to return his serve on clay than it will be here.
Make no mistake if Matteo plays like that in final it will take an outstanding performance to overcome him even from Novak
