I had to go out for a few hours and missed the rest of the 3rd set and then the 4th set. So I predicted correctly, Berrettini in 4 sets. I really do believe that Berrettini is playing well enough to win on Sunday - time will tell, of course! Hurkacz showed his heart by being able to take that 3rd set after the bagel in the 2nd - I really love both players but for me Berrettini is simply the better player, and the better grass player, and he has the better chance imo of the two to win on Sunday.

Based on how close the SF between Djokovic and Shapovalov has been, I'm starting to think that Berrettini might have a chance on Sunday. Nole has broken Shapovalov only twice in 3 sets and hasn't had that many break points, either.

That’s how i’ve felt for a while even before Rafa was primed to take the spot. nothing was going to change how i felt. But whoever gets the record deserves it no doubt. we still have some years to cement it!!

Let's hope Nadal can be a factor again. I got the sense after his RG loss, that it might be curtains for him. UsOpen would be a tough ask with the next gen and Novak.
Still think the best chance would be next RG, but Rafa needs to add something to his game I feel. Like a bigger serve..

You can make that argument but i will be surprised if novak doesn’t play better. He has to be disappointed with the way he played against denis.
