With that said she is getting Azarenka on the stretch in some of these points, but she's not been able to finish off the rallies. Aaaand she jus doubled to give Azarenka a 3-0 double break lead.

Zhang starting to find her range a little bit now. And Azarenka donates a service game with a miss on a short forehand.

EZ Azarenka. Didn't realize Jabeur and Hsieh were playing today. Easy to say I would take it now since Jabeur is up 6-1 2-0 but if odds are good I probably would have went on it for sure.

Thought about taking Kontaveit too but wanted to see how my other bets went first. That match already got started though. Looks like Kontaveit is starting off where she left off in Ostrava.

Chicago Claasic 1st: $3,334. 2nd: $4,100. 3rd: $6,478. Qtr.: $12,675 Semi: $26,475. Final: $50,130 Winner: $68,570.

Nice to see that the Finalist and Winner are close in prize money. Before, the Finalist only got 50% of the winning prize money and a medium level tournament like the WTA 500 level, you just not earning enough before. All theses are at each level. Thus, when you loose, you get a check for the level you lost at!

Ann Li is actually not a mug. She has quite nice movement and baseline game and consistency off both wings.

Lost another 3k on doi. Up 5-3 to 5-7…
why? I mean I imagine you do well enough to be betting that much, but what was your thought process? Saw Doi doing well and made a live bet? Even still Collins is really feisty and isn't going to go down easy to a weaker player. Sometimes just needs to get herself pumped up I think.

no, i was already tilted from last night and today. so betting doi was just a tilt bet. i saw good odds on her when it was 1-0 in 3rd set. so figured why not take a chance on the dog? She had it, but choked.

Today and yesterday I could swore I heard Halep grunting on a court other than the one I'm watching, but I think it's actually her countrywoman Ruse copying her grunt. Hahaha.

Anyway...Bencic broke to start and then surrendered it right back. Actually in danger of going down a break now. Not watching that one, but I've got Rybakina on my 2nd monitor. Looks like Rybakina does the same as Bencic. Was up a break and about to secure at 3-1 lead, but loses 4 straight points.

They got these girls playing at 9am local time, jesus lol

@fundrazer I stupidly bet on a Bencic-Rybakina 2-0 parlay. They easily should do it but you're making me nervous.

and as I'm typing this both go up a break 3-2. happy days.

I have Rybakina under 20.5. Straight sets for her was probably smarter/safer since the odds weren't that much different, but still pretty confident with it. Bencic I didn't take because the under was set 19.5 and -170. Just felt the odds weren't great for it.

Good luck.

Bencic clearly has no interest in playing serious tennis today lol. She might be on 30% first serves as well.

Well Rybakina's on track which is good. Would very much like to see a comfortable second set for her. Maybe one early break and then just go Sampras/Serena and serve it out.

Well looks like mine is probably going to the losing bet graveyard too. Rybakina needs to win three games in a row now to keep it under 21. Really should have broken Sasnovich's earlier service game. Got a short ball at 0-30 and blasted forehand right into the net. Even a decent approach shot probably would have won her the point.

Well now, Rybakina breaks for 5-4. Serving for the match! Think she's only faced a few break points this match, and I'd love to see another easy hold here.

Not big on Pegula but that also looks like it may have been an easy one. Saw a few tips for 2-0 or under there and she's definitely having a strong start against Petko.

Didn't take that one, but I did make a small bet on Vondrousova. She's fun to watch and has been playing well.

Pavs doesn't really seemed bothered by the rally ball Vondrousova is giving her though. Haven't seen too much of the slice or any successful dropshots form her yet though (0-2 on those), and she just tossed in her first double.

Really don't remember Vondrousova having this much power before this year. Not that she's blasting girls off the court, but she can crack the ball when she tries to. I almost exclusively remembered her looping forehands and hitting dropshots before. Although maybe it's her backhand that she just plays as a flatter shot.

Really like her game now though.

Serve still goes off a bit though. Not sure if it's an issue with her toss. Looks like it's too far to her left to me, but I'm not an expert. Just a 4.0 scrub.

Surrenders one of her breaks back. Still up 5-3 with Pavs to serve.

Seen this before from Vondrousova. Set and a break up and surrenders it right back. Sounds like she's annoyed with something...I think that there aren't any balls on her side of the court?

She did this against Cornet a few weeks ago when I had her for a 2-0. Come to think of it, I think it was the same venue actually. They had like a 250 here before US Open :-D

Turning into a really sloppy match though. Think we're over a dozen double faults between the two of them now.

fundrazer

G.O.A.T.
lmao. After some excellent defense she throws in the dropshot when she gets the chance and Pavs doesn't even go for it. MP

This Baptiste girl can't even keep balls in play. Every point she's losing on unforced errors. Down 0-3 double break to Azarenka.

Regret not going on this one for sure :-D

Well turns out I was gonna be wrong either way. Baptiste playing better in this set. Still thought she looked out of gas a few games ago, but seems to be doing okay.

Think the under for this was set at 19.5 (on my bookie anyway) too, and now it's going at least 20 so no bueno there. I only had Vondrousova and Rybakina today though.
