Find it kinda funny asking for the crowd to celebrate when if Ostapenko just tapped the ball up the line she breaks back.

Osta is a one-trick pony when she comes to the net on the deuce side.
ALWAYS hits it cross court.
She lost that final game because she did it again.

Really should be up a double break now though. Three chances wasted, and on the third one she was up to that dropshot with more than enough time but pushed it wide.

Another match of swings. 2 games for Badosa, 3 games for Jabeur, then 4 to Badosa who takes the set 6-3.

Jabeur is getting some decent looks on Badosa service games, but ultimately is making waaaaay too many unforced errors.

Really strong hold from 0-30 by Badosa. She's done really well to get out of games like that.

Jabeur seems visibly frustrated but has been composed on her serve this set.

Jabeur just didn't really have any answers for the consistent deep balls coming from Badosa.

Think I like Badosa in the final too now.

I think you have been jinxing everyone you picked.

Don’t jinx Badosa on this one. I can’t stand Arezanka.:p

Ons looked tired last night. The commentator made similar remarks. I think Ons' stamina has improved recently, though. She has been playing a lot recently and didn't even go back home after US Open since she played Chicago.

Badosa seemed familiar and ready in handling many of Ons' patterns and dropshots (not surprising since they're friends).

Looks like I'll be rooting for the ex-#1 Vika.

Iga dropped out of top-10 and Osaka is back in.

What an interesting tournament this IW has been!

Yes, no kidding.
The level of the WTA's top 100 is insanely high right now, everyone can get a big title. This is probably the most important legacy of Serena and Sharapova (a bit), in order to compete with them everybody has to be top level athlete.

Kudermetova collapsed at the end of the first set of doubles. Broken at 5-5, they push it to a tiebreaker only for her to double twice and hit a smash into net.

Oh dear. Kudermetova drops serve again. Her form has been up and down since I started watching.

Funny how Mertens is so much more solid in doubles now compared to her singles matches.

Rough day for Kudermetova/Rybakina. Funny how the ol' lob into the sun tactic works at the pro level too.

A lot of unforced errors to start this one. Azarenka fought off three break chances so far but we're not out of the game yet.

Badosa breaks through. Excellent return off the slice serve is too much for Vika to handle.

Badosa to serve up 4-3.

Imo Badosa not doing enough with these second serves. Azarenka spinning the ball in the middle of the box and those need to be attacked.

There we go. She went after that one to set up another break chance. Need to convert though.

Azarenka saves with a good wide serve...
