Aussie Darcy wasn't too sure, either.. (s)he went with Svit first, then Mert, I did the reverse. Svit played earlier, and I wanted to be put out of my misery right away, thinking what I wrote in my post above.

Yup, decided those two were trap matches. When I saw most everyone went w Mertens that made the Barty pick a good gamble.

2. Save picks must be used before the last 16 of the Grand Slams or before the last 8 of any other tournament and must be used before the WTA Finals.

With before the last 16 does that mean it can't be used in the round of 16? Guessing the answer is yes but just want to be sure.
