2021 Yonex VCore Pro Official Thread

To avoid the confusion and multiple threads, let's use this as the central source for all info and feedback on the newest VCore Pros.

So far, I think the frames look really promising with updated frame geometry, slightly thicker beams, and of course that dead sexy late 80s/early 90s nostalgic paint job.

It looks to be a really promising frame and I'll be picking one up as soon as they release.

I think I asked on one of the other threads, but I can't remember the answer - when do they arrive please?

And yes, I am thinking hard to remember when did any racquet look this good. There were really good ones, I liked the dark blue/orange Vcore Pro for example, black RF97As etc, but this design is just wow

FYI TW staff are removing posts showing pics...those IG pics have been shared multiple times already but removed every time. i guess it's still too early for leaks.

not sure if creating yet another thread was really the solution for multiple threads lol, at least not until there's an official release or new info not already present in other threads

not a fan of the paintjob....it looks like the designer was a makeup artist who gave it eye shadow

I don't know if it will be different in person, but at least in images they look beautiful close up when you can see all the colours and detail, but a bit 'basic' from a distance. It's that flat looking green part I don't like, would be amazing if that was black like the rest of just a darker green.

The bottom of the throat near the top of the grip looks squarer and boxier... more like some of the Yonexes from the 80s/90s... maybe like an RQiS... and the inside of the throat (the shape) looks a bit like a G360+ Speed/ Prestige.

The Colour/ design is like the 80s/90s again... I think it's going to be best to see it in person.

I think it's supposed to be sometime around September. I know that's what I'm hoping for. But if they're already hitting the shelves in the Asian market, maybe sooner?

Maybe. Maybe not. The forum is all about thread activity.

I love the paint job. It's pure 80s/90s nostalgia for me.

I hit the 100 (Japan version last one) it was 23mm and it was perfect, think of a speed mp with a huge sweetspot and benefited isometric shape
I've been playing with the EZone 100 for the last 8 month. I just picked up a 2021 VCore 100 and I'm liking it more than the EZone. I also hit with the current 97HD and loved it but it was too underpowered for my liking. It looks like these new pro models are bridging that gap between player and tweener frames.

Yeah that is what I liked about the japan version

It was just right, power on tap and not underpowered, allows for user to enjoy on half-assed effort days and also when on song. I tried the ezone 100 also the previous green one and if that had a 23mm beam I may have contemplated switching... just for me felt a bit clunky as I love net play and touch shots e.t.c

Not a huge fan of the new paintjob... I am interested to see how it plays. The Duel G and 1st/2nd gen Vcore Pro lines were fairly similar, but this new Vcore Pro appears to be quite the change.

You guys are nuts, this is an awesome paint job! I mean, I wouldn’t buy it but wouldn’t mind if one of my hitting partners purchased it..
Haha I’m probably going to demo it for fun! Looks very 90’s in which I’m all for!!

Yonex has started a demo program in japan:

Wow! There's an oversized 104 sq inch Vcore Pro. Also Polytour Rev will come in a new colour.
I'm intrigued by this 104 as well. Would seem that they are directly targeting the Blade line with that offering.

Also, in case my stance was unclear, the paint job is pure awesomeness. Can't wait for these to release and pick up the 100.

My shop got a set of the line and I got a chance to hold one of the HDs a little over a week ago. At the time my dude said he thought they’d start selling on the 4th but wasn’t sure. Not a fan of the paint job.

Is the 104 a Japan only version? I have heard nothing about it for Europe, but it sounds like a great option.
