Be wary for some fakeness here, both will tank sets to go 3 and give each other some confidence as they are good friends. Tbh I don’t think Med has anything for Djoker rather than solidity and a serve but who knows, maybe Novak will find it impossible to hit through him.

First hard court tournament played by both players. And this is when Medvedev finds his peak level. What a coincidence. Where was he all these months when Djokovic wasn't playing. Why is he precisely showing up THIS week?

I see a 3 setter here. Hopefully Novak can pull the win out the bag but can see it being a baseline slugfest. Novak’s serve and return of serve need to be firing at top form for this one.
