2022 ATP Finals qualification: Does the special rule for GS winners apply?

Let's say someone outside Top7 of the ATP Race wins Wimbledon.

At this moment there are 5 candidates:
#9 Fritz
#10 Djokovic
#14 Norrie
#37 Kyrgios
#56 Garin

As we know there are no ranking points for Wimbledon this year.

Does the following rule number two (taken from the 2021 regulations) apply? Is this the same this year?
