You think Novak is gonna get it done this year? I lean yes but am a little scared of Meddy. FAA may be a threat but it's just hard for me to imagine.
He looks good but he did in 2018 as well. He looks like he wants it though. Hold on. It's back on serve. Lol.

This match has strong "would only happen in an end-of-year round robin" energy. Both players look drained and completely discombobulated. Really weird energy.

Yea Djokovic wants him out for sure. Lol. I kind of wanted Medvedev to lose today so he would be eliminated but didn't really want Djokovic to potentially have to play Tsistipas twice. That gives me 2018 vibes. So it's a double edged sword.
True I can see it both ways. I just feel the scheduling might fall better for Novak if Tsitsipas wins tonight but we will see haha.

It's over for Medvedev. Tsitsipas didn't win the match, Medvedev lost it. This guy is such a disgrace for a former #1

Djoko can easily semi-tank like he did in 2020

Well then it would be 3 way tie with one match win each (if Medvedev loses to Djokovic) and I need the experts to weigh in. I think then it's head to head or games won. Not sure which one.

I think it's then (i) highest percentage of sets won, then (ii) highest percentage of games won in a 3-way tie. If a player is eliminated and two are left tied - you go back to head-to head between those two.

Ideally, Rublev and Fritz join Djokovic and Ruud in the semis, am I right? :p

Lmfao complete and utter meltdown by Medvedev. This dude is mentally not capable to compete with the top guys anymore. All year he couldn't hit a 1st serve in TBs and save BPs anymore. Not sure if I have ever seen someone fall apart so quickly after winning a major and reaching the finals of another
