Djokovic is ultimate TB player, he plays each point with so much focus ,it's unbelievable.congrats him.
Sampras vs Djokovic, 10 matches under indoor conditions, who wins?Just another day at the office

I agree. He won on sheer will and never going up. It reminded me of the Wimbledon 2019 final against at times. He’s a mentality giant though. I’m glad he proved me wrong as I worried today. Good news though that was less physical and he has more time to recover for final. First final since 2018! Idemo!!That was the worst match Djokovic played here but somehow pulls it out in 2 tiebreaks. Clearly, he was physically off after that match yesterday but he has more time to recover now for the final.
That sounds very condescending.Djoko does it again! I honestly didn’t see him pulling through that. I’m pleased he made a mug of me again haha! What mentality beast.
Congrats to fritz for good performance and great tournament.
Ah sorry bro. I didn’t mean it that way. He’s a great guy and a talented player. I believe he will win more events. That sounds very condescending.

Nadal's pupil is the last hope.Had this gone 3, the final may have been a toss-up. Now it’s NID.
Sheer warrior spirit! I honestly don‘t know how he keeps doing it. Remarkable considering he wasn’t at his best.Djokovic is ultimate TB player, he plays each point with so much focus ,it's unbelievable.congrats him.
Yeah unless something really unexpected happens Djokovic isn't losing a big final to Ruud/Rublev lol.Had this gone 3, the final may have been a toss-up. Now it’s NID.
He looked low energy most of that 2nd set until he got that break back and then seemed to get a second wind. Before that, I thought it was going a 3rd and that was worrying indeed. Yes the match today was a lot less physical and being that the match is tomorrow evening, that should be enough time to recover. He won't get a better chance than now to win this title again.I agree. Djokovic started looking fresher towards the end of the match. I think it was just a case of stiff legs for the first set and a half. Once he shook the rust off he still looked OK physically. Since he'll be playing in the evening tomorrow too I don't think recovery will be too much of an issue. Really big that he managed to pull this one out in straights as well. Would have been tough otherwise but as of now I'm confident he gets the job done.Djokovic earned an easy semi by going 3-0 in the stacked group. He better step it up for the final though.
Fritz was a more dangerous opponent for him than Rublev/Ruud.Djokovic earned an easy semi by going 3-0 in the stacked group. He better step it up for the final though.

for what its worth,,, even if taylor took novak to 3rd set, i can't seen taylor winning this match. novak probably would have drank some more of magic juice and won this match.

I agree. Considering he got it done in 2 sets and he know has over a day to recover. This is the best scenario we could hope for.He looked low energy most of that 2nd set until he got that break back and then seemed to get a second wind. Before that, I thought it was going a 3rd and that was worring indeed. Yes the match today was a lot less physical and being that the match is tomorrow evening, that should be enough time to recover. Yeah especially cuz it'll be Ruud or Rublev in the final tomorrow. I'd rather have tired Novak against those dudes than fresh Novak against in form Med/Zed/Tim (the guys who've taken him out the last 4 years)He looked low energy most of that 2nd set until he got that break back and then seemed to get a second wind. Of course, when he loses to your idol he is "the savior".Finally now that his season is over, must salute Fritz. He was a true hero in certain moments this year, when nobody else wanted to take responsibility. Wink wink.
Confined it was group of Americans...
Totally agree. When it came to tiebreakers or at the 5-4 parts of match he went into wall mode. That was the difference in end. This reminded me of 2019wc final where he was sloppy at most of the time but a wall whenever occasion arose.
Honestly I think he would have missed it anyway...Taylor had a sitter gimme shot and novak was going to go other way, he guessed wrong. so it was easy point for taylor. so novak should give him the point
Seems like you are searching for one right now.Of course, when he loses to your idol he is "the savior".

Yea there is no Zverev or Thiem this year who can take the racket of your hand. Even if he isn't that fresh, there is no better chance than now.Yeah especially cuz it'll be Ruud or Rublev in the final tomorrow. I'd rather have tired Novak against those dudes than fresh Novak against in form Med/Zed/Tim (the guys who've taken him out the last 4 years)
unfortunately for you, only novak's team knows the recipeImagine if anyone had this juice...
For example you, I believe if you would drink this juice, you would play the same tennis as Novak for sure, the shotmaking, service, backhand, the mental aspect,...
Too good Novak only has the formula, or likes of Paires or Bubliks would be Grand Slam champions.
What do you think then that Djokovic, whom you admire so much, is about to surpass the 5 titles won by the American in the 90s?7-3 or 8-2 Pete

Casper Ruud must save the honor of Nadal's Academy and the only way is by winning the tournament.Seems like you are searching for one right now.![]()
Djokovic really should be studied by athletes of other disciplines though. The ability to phone it in 90% of the time and then just pull out your best in pressure situations.. it’s unfathomable sometimes
Blake from the 2006 version of the Masters Cup, against this Djokovic from 2022, who wins?Very few in any sport can match his mental fortitude.....and it was not his strong suit when he first started out. Credit to him.
Ruud or Rublev too limited players to beat Djokovic here. Give him trophy. I'm sleeping now.
I’d probably take Djoko of the group stage, but Blake could definitely have won todayBlake from the 2006 version of the Masters Cup, against this Djokovic from 2022, who wins?

You can't call a let because of crowd noiseThat has to be a let surely, wtf. That's ****ing atrocious
For all the “this is just an exho” from the usual crowd the reality is that every player you face here is a top 10. It’s not like a slam where you may not even face a top 20 until the SFs, allowing a player to ramp up their game.I didn't know the oldest WTF champion is Fed (2011, 30 years old). If Djokovic wins tomorrow he'll break the record by 5 years lol.
But I'm surprised that no 30+ year old won the tournament with the exception of Fed who was just 3 months past 30.
