Med definitely upped the aggression and his game there, good signs for him. Still hopeful for Tsits though. FAA played a good match, think the shots are pretty much there but needs help with his mental game.

Medvedev is the best hard court player in the draw! He may not have played great today but he can play better as long as he’s in the draw and is still favourite to win the title

That’s what makes a champion though, so many times Novak has won in Australia and played a bad match along the way, as long as Medvedev is in the draw he’s the big favourite for the title.

next match after 5 setter is not so crucial considering empty or not, plus he's at his peak and young.. many times we seen how guys won their another 5 setter right after 5 setter, well if it's gonna be 5 setter in semifinal, then in a final it can play big role i guess

Match of the tournament so far, good level and drama.

Auger Aliassime took the racket from Medvedev's hands for a while but the Russian kept at it and took his chances in the final three sets.

Looking forward to the Med-Tsits semi-final. Reversed circumstances from last year in terms of quarter-final length should hopefully make it a more competitive one this time around.
