I know what you mean, Tsitsipas used to always seem to have an imposing presence on the court , he appears to have shrunk , when I see him play now , hard to explain .You're right on the string change.
Loopy and passive was more a comment on his playing strategy than the forehand. There are points in his matches where he's playing nice, aggressive tennis but he always seems to default back to grinding rather than making things happen.
I hope he does adapt. Maybe it's something that will come with time and match practice. But if I'm watching today's match and comparing it to Monte Carlo, I don't think there's been any improvement. Could be a longer-term thing though.
He finally found the joy of playing tennis.
He is now leading 4:0 in the second set, so has snapped back a bit... Khachanov in serious trouble...Losing a set to Khachanov on clay is a new low for Tsitsipas lol
QFs are 7 youngsters and one old fart. The oldest besides Joe Kovic is Garin at age 26 this month.
Pity it was ended with a double fault!!!!They should always play together. Jokes aside, this is a good win.
I don't think they do. They adore the Nadal-Djokovic matchup. So this becomes an unintended consequence. So Stefanos and Sacha can meet for the 3rd straight clay masters. Why do the draw makers adore this match-up so much?
Only the one with the net cordIs there a point Sinner won that he has not fist pumped ?
