I'm only following the score board but it seems like Zverev is breathing rather heavily down City's neck.
edit and there's the break

LOL at the preposterous trolling here suggesting Tsitsipas would tank tonight in order to duck another Alcaraz matchup. Quite the opposite ambition is more probably spurring him to win tonight: he wants to keep his clay h2h dominance going vs Zed. Then he gets a chance to break the early trend vs Alcaraz. Two of the three losses were close so he’s not far away from stopping the skid.

Simply not sustainable. Once those numbers drop a bit, his game gets exposed often.
He has flaws, obviously. But his ceiling of skill when combining serve+return skills is pretty much unmatched outside of Djokovic. He shouldn't be serving 92%, but there's no reason he shouldn't consistently serve around 70% with his height. And there's no reason he shouldn't win more than 0% of his 2nd serve points. It's all mental with him, even his ground game. His forehand & backhand should be so much better but he goes into powderpuff mode when things get tight.

I'm thankful he's a headcase because I can't stand him. But it's insane he hasn't been able to bottle up his form to at least 1 major win yet.

Can't keep it over 90%, but he semi-regularly goes on runs when it's well over 70% for a bunch of matches in a row (WTF last year was one, I'm pretty sure) and he's near enough unplayable in those cases.

As others sad I wouldn’t be surprised Tsitsi is purposely tanking to avoid Carlos. I hope I’m wrong though

Zverev is a very strange player, he is a mystery to me. I kinda feel the same way about Cilic too

Maybe it's just Tsits being underwhelming, but Zed looks dangerous to me.

Alcaraz had huge trouble with Djoko's serve. What if Z has one of those untouchable serving days and there's nothing Carlos could do?

He definitely is. Especially in Madrid. His Madrid 2018 level is above anything Tsitsipas ever did on the surface. As of now I don't know, I don't watch almost anything anymore.
Maybe in Madrid he’s better as Mike Danny said. Hasn’t Stef won like their last 3 or 4 matches on clay though? And Stef’s 2021 clay season was great, he definitely played better than Zverev by a large margin last year

2021 Claysipas says hi. Tsitsipas is a MUCH better clay courter than Zverev. The only way Zverev can win on this surface is on cool night conditions on a high altitude clay court like Madrid.
