Two missed volleys at crucial junctures. Against top players you can’t afford that. Hurkacz, you’ve disappointed us all.

Can't believe HH keeps dropping these leading positions vs Medvedev. Does Medvedev have an aura which is making HH, who bageled Federer at Wimbledon, nervous? I would think every Medvedev opponent would watch that AO final to remind them who they are playing.

Lol that set got the ending it deserved, a total shanked mishit leading to Medvedev missing a volley. Mugs mugging.

Well deserved by Hurk though who has been the better player. Medvedev has a battle on his hands
Hurkacz played better in the set. I'd have been disappointed had Meddy pulled off a Djoko here

I had to go to an appointment and was surprised that Medvedev had climbed all the way back to a tiebreak! But Hurkacz won the tiebreak! (I left when it was 5-1!)

I hope these two exhaust each other so they have nothing left for the semi! (;

Medvedev is not asserting himself at all here. I rarely watch him, but his style and tactics reminds me of Djokovic and Murray rather than Nadal and Federer.

We have one player here with more variety, better athleticism and more balanced stroke. Yet he is lower ranked and achieved much less. Tennis is confusing.

Unimpressed by the level so far, but I can see it getting better

I am really liking Alcaraz's chances in the semis! (I know: he has to win tonight first but just sayin') (;

That woman looked so weird, trying to whistle and being frustrated at her fingers :-D

HC King fails to win either of the last three 'Big' HC events in about as open a field as it gets. Interesting times.
Make that the last 5: Paris, WTF, AO, IW and Miami.

And has failed to win 9 of the last 11 big HC titles.

And some people predicted he'd be a dominant HC figure.
