First M1000 since 1999 Indian Wells that saw the top 3 seeds all lose their first round/first matches. I'm always happy on a human level for the lower ranked players who are able to take advantage in situations like this and nab a big title but in general I hate tournaments like this where the field drops like flies. Quite uninteresting. Carreno Busta besting Hurkacz for the title was totally fitting for what kind of week this was.
