Not sure, as FAA did play a though 2h30 SF less then 24 hours ago.Auger-Aliassime routined in straights in a final he is back to his old lvl
I didn't know about thatNot sure, as FAA did play a though 2h30 SF less then 24 hours ago.
I know it's a joke, but nothing routine about a 7-5, 7-6 scoreline.
Felix played a lot of tennis in the last few weeks so tiredness may have been a factor. It was a close scoreline, but Rublev seemed the better player throughout and generated more opportunities. Rublev won the dominance ratio at 1.19 (i.e., Rublev held serve easier and got into FAA’s service games at a higher rate than did FAA held serve and got into Rublev’s serve games) which is a solid win.
Many of FAA’s old tendencies came out in this match, which I hope was a small blip in a larger upwards trajectory. He did play a long semi-final, so that’s mitigating factor.
Fed devotee, it looks like 84% of the voters here (including myself) were wrong. You mean 3 pm here![]()
And they win, long live the comradery between Ukraine and Russia.I just found out Rublev is playing with Denys Molchanov, a Ukrainian - hope he is making a statement, hope they win.
I agree, FAA looked tired today. Still found a way to hang in there which is a good sign. That was a lot of tennis in a short amount of time. Wondering what kind of week he'll have in Dubai. He's set to play tomorrow but I expect the organizers will change the schedule to give him a break. If not he could be out 1st round.Felix played a lot of tennis in the last few weeks so tiredness may have been a factor.
Hopefully he will get a bit of a break from the schedulers but even so, he’s tired, which is a shameI agree, FAA looked tired today. Still found a way to hang in there which is a good sign. Just looked at the schedule and he is not set for tomorrow anymore.Hopefully he will get a bit of a break from the schedulers but even so, he’s tired, which is a shame
Good sportsmanship is great, but if these 'Congratulations on your win' tweets become a habit, I'm going after the big 3.
Do you really think it's going to be a habit? He's been on fire so far this season.
Felix has shown his colours and he is a fighter. I think he was just tired and couldn't find his zone in the final. Not a reason for him to be a jerk. I admire that he rose above it.
Why do you say he was a jerk?
