Really regretting my vote in the poll now  I let the StronkRoolbots and then FAA match get to me.

My fellow RAFANS:

the FAA match made me more confident. I was feeling Novak in 4 but changed to Rafa in 5 after that 5th set.

Djokovic made big mistake in Australia. Slam race is now 22 vs 20. He still has got mountain to climb despite superhuman effort last year. As far as Nadal remains strong at FO - he is guaranteed more Slam wins. His target of 24-25 Slams looks realistic.

Egg doesn't care about slams anymore

Got to see the end finally, earlier when I left I was watching the live scores in the car and saw 6-4 after that I didn’t look at them again until I got a msg from my family saying Go Rafa then I knew he had won. Very special moment that was. Vamos Rafa!

You are a good man but why you always underrate Nadal?you gave him no chance before match and after first set you said he was not gonna win. Hope ,you enjoyed the match.

Suk it up loser, you were rude to Nadal fans and you guys were super cocky. Son, ofcourse you respect choice like your Serbian hero does ;) you were ready to rub it on us Nadal fans lol . Now feel free to cry
You are an illiterate who can’t read or comprehend. You are a keyboard warrior who makes stuff up and you have the audacity to call someone else a loser run along now you really are a thicko

Be honest was this match better than last year?

A little better, I think. They played two good sets each, Novak should clearly have won the 4th and was disgusted with himself for not doing so. Rafa fans who think Nadal should easily have won set 2: Go back and watch again; see what Novak did to change the dynamics.

Novak's problem was Rafa's fh didn't break down and his serve was ok, but not at its best. Rafa played close to the best he can play at this age with declined movement, while Novak played below his best level, which is why I think he hoped for a 5 setter, to turn it into a physical and mental challenge, which might give him the edge. Nadal had lady Luck in his corner on a few points, Novak didn't.

As I saw it...

This year was def better than the total collapse that was the last 30 mins of last year. Give me a tiebreak any day. It still felt like Djokovic could come back when he saved the 3 set points.

Lol. Set 2 just a mental lapse for Nadal. Should have been 3-0. You know how I saw it? The King chew your boy and spit him out. Total tactical supremacy. He read that game as back of his hand.

I like @The Blond Blur and @StrongRule equally. Strongrule is the most pessimistic Rafa fan but I bet nobody celebrates harder than him/her when Rafa wins, not including @octobrina10 of course:)

I don't think @StrongRule is even a Rafan, even after Rafa pulling off a hard fought win after all odds. He was moaning and didn't celebrate.hes a troll. What kind of Rafa fan won't celebrate this win especially when he thought he can't win against Djokovic?? That's a red flag to me.

Djokovic is not my boy and "lol" is always a berry strong argument. I watched the match with interest.

It was good fun to see how biased people are commenting a match while rooting for one of the players.

Amazing match. Credit to both men. I was at a restaraunt and saw Nadal level up in the fourth set and knew Djoko was smoked once Nadal got the break. It's amazing watching a player like Nadal in full force against an opponent like Djokovic and realize the outcome is over and Djokovic is totally powerless to stop what's transpiring.
On clay, any opponent of Nadal is adrift, predestined to lose.
:D

"LuckDal" can't lose playing like this; never!
:)

Which player where they rooting for ?

I don't root for Djokovic or Nadal, I just watch them with interest and awe. What some saw as "a total mental lapse" from Nadal I saw as one of the best and most interesting sets of tennis this year. Things are so different when your preferred player is not involved. How often do we see a 84 minute 6-4 set? The level of tennis and the dynamic between the two auras and styles of play, were at full display. Very interesting.

Haha, I didn't mean he was lucky at all. But Novak had a few important ones where he got unlucky (net cords that changed a point totally etc).

Nadal deserved the win, clearly the better player. But Novak had SP to take it to a decider, in which anything could have happened. Which is why he was so disappointed with himself afterwards, of course.

That is true. I know you're a Fed fan. I was watching the infamous 2019 Wimbledon final between Fed and Djoker , and i appreciated that match for their tennis, the dog fight, because my player wasn't involved.

The match yesterday between Rafa and Djoker was nerve wrecking for me

2019.
:)

Can't wait for this Nadal Djokovic showdown. Hopefully Djokovic can pull this out. I actually got fired from work to watch this match.

asked for the day off and they said no. I got mad and they fired me. It's all good though, will be worth it watching Nadal and Djokovic head to head tomorrow for #59.
If you are talented in your work, I hope you do not lack proposals and get a new job.
:)

Just watch the first set and the second set until 3-0. Amazing controlled aggression from Rafa.

That's what I said this Year was far better , last year was unforced error fest from Rafa after first set. Btw ,where is apology son? I predicted Rafa in 4 and you were ridiculing me ? Anyway, Rafa was flawless today bar some patches.

I'm not a fan of @StrongRule by any mean, even having mocked him several times here.

Not sure about other posters (I don't care much tbh). And I didn't even predict the outcome of the match or say anything opposite here. You were correct with the prediction, good for you ;)

Well @TennisFan3 is, first and foremost, a tennis and capslock fan. Better not speculate anything about his absense :D

Well your pessimistic approach here made me feel you are a fan of @StrongRule he does sound as pessimistic as you. @TennisFan3 is a deluded guy . Serve like Isner , Movement like Chang , BH like peak Djokovic and FH like peak Nadal .i wanna know what went wrong :-D

I'm more a realistic guy backing up my point of view with stats. @StrongRule is extremely pessimistic without much evidence (and he usually tunes in whenever Rafa is losing).

Look, i have been assuring all @StrongRule and his fans and you also happen to be one of them , you were not rude. @zuluzazu @ADuck and many were hopeless can. i just told everyone of you to be sure of a Rafa win in 4. btw Is @TennisFan3 a Rafa fan? he has been missing since Novak lost :D :-D
@TennisFan3 is a Djoko fan. He is constantly praising Djoko and trash talking Rafa. He sometimes appears in the Nadal News thread to pretend that he likes Rafa. He hasn't disappeared, he posted in the thread I mentioned.
