I honestly don't have any idea who will win the match but I chose Ruud in 5 sets - since I want Ruud to win but it really doesn't matter. Just hoping Rafa gets to the final and wins it tbh.

The factors to who will win for me is: can Cilic continue his incredible run? He is often erratic and will play great and then be inconsistent and lose his momentum; or will Ruud continue to be patient and hang in there and win it? That seems to be the key to his success when he wins tournament or makes finals...

I really have no gut feeling for who will win, but I’d also like to see Cilic be triumphant Friday. I haven’t seen any of his matches at RG this year, but he must be firing well to have gotten this far on the clay. He’s a great tennis player.

Lopsided draw for sure, but Cilic has historically struggled to get past R3 on clay.

I just can't believe that Casper Ruud is actually in a major semi-final

I am 90% certain he loses in the first round if the ghost of Jo-Willy Tsonga doesn't blow his shoulder out. The only real test he's had was Sonego, and he barely made it through. Hurkacz may have taken steps forward on clay this year, but this is still not the surface for him, and Rune spotted him a set right out the gate which made his job ridiculously easy.

I'm telling you, this whole run is an illusion., if Cilic doesn't mess him up he will have taken a step up a million miles beyond anything he's done in his career to date.
