I know Tsitsipas is the heavy favorite but I just love my Diego! :)

Was anybody expecting all four matches to go the distance? 12 sets of tennis over nearly 11 hours! :)

Wow!!! I pressed the TV volume down from 12, 11 to 10

And the tennis match was showing the serving clock counting down at 12, 11, 10

At the same time!!!!

Magic?

Salisbury has an anger management issue. He looks so agitated, committing ball abuse and screaming out like Shapovalov.

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina reaches his first final in Monte Carlo, taking out an inspired Dimitrov, 64 67(2) 63.

Congratulations, ADF! His stunning run to the final includes wins over world no. 1 Novak Djokovic and IW champ Taylor Fritz.

Oh another week another Alcaraz aka future GOAT has arrived.

I wonder will he be able to play Wimbledon. He's half Russian and we haven't heard his opinion about events you know where.

ADF was born in Spain. He’s actually 3/4 Russian but he’s not going to be deprived from playing Wimby, where he was Boys champion in 2017.

Salisbury cementing his ascent to #1 in the ATP Doubles Rankings with his first doubles title on clay alongside Ram. It's their first doubles title on clay as a pair, but Ram has previously won a doubles title on clay. They finished RU at last year's Rome M1000, so this is a great achievement for them.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of interest in doubles by many fans and the media, Salisbury gets little attention compared to Raducanu, Murray, Norrie and Evans. Hopefully he is able to win the Wimbledon men's doubles one year as I think that would definitely make more waves in the UK.

How many swinging volleys do you even see on the ATP? Much less ones that land in.

Good stuff from ADF.

Other open era multi year (but not consecutive) M-C champions to also win RG during their careers:

Vilas
Wilander
Lendl
Bruguera
Kuerten

All of these except Vilas won RG multiple times. Borg and Nadal are the only two consecutive M-C champions with multiple RG titles.
