Novak looked suspect against Ruud, who is worse than Sissy by quite a margin.Djokovic is hitting top gear while Stefanos is had scraping by. Djokovic in 2.
Have you seen the Zverev-Tsitsipas match today?Tsitsipas in 2. Djoko's first real test and I wasn't really that impressed with what I saw against Auger and Ruud. If Djokovic has a really good day then he could possibly win it in 3 but most likely Tsitsipas in 2.
Rome 2019 was peak Tio Toni backstage tinkeringDjokovic, but in 3 this time because he gets less rest. Organizers are desperately trying to screw him over with the scheduling.
Djokovic is going to have an allergic reaction to the gluten on that cake. Seriously though the day time start really favors Stefanos, it’s a quick turnaround for a 35 year old.@Kralingen going against Novak again![]()
What? Today was barely a practice session for Novak. He’ll be fresh as a daisy.Djokovic is going to have an allergic reaction to the gluten on that cake. Seriously though the day time start really favors Stefanos, it’s a quick turnaround for a 35 year old.
Just noticed the signature lol. You da man!Gonna stick with predicting Novak. He’s come this far so why not
Why would they do that? Novak winning the title is way better for their brand than Tsitsipas winning.Djokovic, but in 3 this time because he gets less rest. Organizers are desperately trying to screw him over with the scheduling.
I agree with a Nole win but not straight sets.Novak in STRAIGHTS. Titspas is WORSE than last year.
This scheduling mess is for like what, 4 out of last 5 finals he's made? Lol.Djokovic, but in 3 this time because he gets less rest. Organizers are desperately trying to screw him over with the scheduling.

Maybe. Not sure. Why would they do that? Novak winning the title is way better for their brand than Tsitsipas winning.
They're probably sick of seeing Nadal or Djokovic in the final of their tournament every year. This scheduling mess is for like what, 4 out of last 5 finals he's made? Lol.
Luckily, he didn’t play that much against Ruud. He should be fine.I don’t think Djokovic will win due to ridiculous scheduling (same thing every year with Rome, night match SFist just does not have much chance) unless Tsitsipas puts out a stinker. His form looks good again to be a contender at RG and be the favorite for Wimbledon after the turmoil he has been in though, which is the important thing.
Lol it was a breeze against Ruud. If you wanna talk about how scheduling screwed over somebody, you should probably look at Madrid where Z and Tsitsipas slogged for almost 3 hours and finished post midnight and had to play Alcaraz next day evening. Z would have not won that final anyway, but he couldn’t even put up a dignified fight due to the scheduling. If Novak loses today, it’s for reasons other than scheduling.I don’t think Djokovic will win due to ridiculous scheduling (same thing every year with Rome, night match SFist just does not have much chance) unless Tsitsipas puts out a stinker. You’re quoting statistics that are not relevant to today’s final. Tsitsipas has gone deep in every single clay tournament this year . He’s literally been playing all year, week in week out. This week, he’s had 3 very tough 3 setters which he came through as opposed to Novak whose had fairly straightforward matches where he’s yet to drop a set. Tiredness and scheduling is really not an excuse for Djokovic. It doesnt matter if it was an easy match. Night match player has always been at disadvantage in Rome as the final starts too early next day. No player who played second SF won Rome since 2011 and that was Djokovic at his peak fitness.
Madrid was bad this year but that was unique due to exceptionally long matches that day. Rome has always been the worst of two historically.

You can raise the issue of scheduling without making the fatigue excuse. Night sessions are different from day sessions. You’re quoting statistics that are not relevant to today’s final. Judging by their last two meetings on clay this should be a good one.
Haven't seen much of Tsitsipas this week. Just glad that Novak finally got all matches including a night semifinal done in straights. If he can move up one more gear he'll definitely be ready for tomorrow and for the French as well.
But conditions will be much different to what Djokovic played in last 2 matches and they seem to favour Tsitsipas more and I doubt Djokovic has it in him yo find that extra level in this conditionBoth Djokovic and Tsitsipas have had lapses in their matches this week, but overall, Djokovic has been playing slightly better. He hasn't lost a set. Tsitsipas has lost three including to Khachanov and Dimitrov. Novak can definitely still raise his level, and if he does, it's on his racquet. He's unbeaten against Tsitsipas on clay. If Novak doesn't raise his level, it'll be close.
