Tsitsipas really has been almost completely useless since the second set of last year’s RG final, hasn’t he? His recent results and the players he’s lost to do not bode all that well for another final run at RG.
Wouldn't be shocked to see him become Zed's first top 10 scalp if they meet in the quarters or semis.Tsitsipas really has been almost completely useless since the second set of last year’s RG final, hasn’t he? The guy who averages three mugs per minute has spoken!
So I'm guessing a couple of people will report this, but you won't get banned.
Can you basically say whatever you want when you have 32k posts?
Djokovic is a great player, perhaps the most consistent of all time, but that doesn't change the fact that he should have some competition at age 35. If you take the tennis timetable from the emergence of Fed, Nadal, and Djoker - even if you look back in time to the beginning of the Open Era, you will see a new ATG emerging every 2-3 years. That puts it at what, 12 years overdue? What happened to the last 4-6 ATG's? They must be playing other sports. Does that mean tennis is dead? Not sure, still hoping...
Yes you mug!!!!
Get a life pal! You said i have a fetish for the word. How many times you say novak on a message board or what not? But it seems like the word mug bothered you to an extent. Ignore it . Simple. Have a good day .
Lool he looks crazy, the ball kid is scared.
Like calling 98 of top 100 players mugs? I'll think about it.Go do something worthwhile.
Djokovic is playing at top level at age 35. And his game is perfect with a mental fortitude not seen in decades. For a next gen ro challenge him, it would need a long long improvement.Djokovic is a great player, perhaps the most consistent of all time, but that doesn't change the fact that he should have some competition at age 35. He starts beefing with me. Telling me i have a fetish of a word lol. I mean give me a break. The word is perfect and it should be said as many times as a word to compared these tennis players.
What actually annoys me is Djokodal/Djokovic/Nadal haters crying about weak era mugs only when they fail to stop their favorite’s rival from winning more (generally people fans of one or two of the Big 3) and pretend they’re just annoyed by the fact tennis isn’t interesting when it’s actually all about the slam race in their mind.
But I absolutely don’t care whatsoever about people using the word mug to describe a youngster playing poorly, I couldn’t care less. Me making a witty remark about your excessive use of the word "mug" doesn’t mean I’m mad over it otherwise I would have told you so and I wouldn’t say I understand why you called Tsitsipas a mug. It doesn’t justify your childish tantrum and thug act.
Don’t bother making the effort to appear polite by wishing me a good day after the behavior you displayed literally minutes before that and after telling me to get a life in the same post. You have zero credibility.
Just realized you're a Celtics fan. Enough said...

Federer ia gone, nadal has declined. Physicality will catch up with djokovic one day. But his body seems good enough to play for 2-3 years at the top

Seems like I hit on nerve. This is a message board last i remembered. If i wanna use the word one million times i can. Just ignore the damn post. Idk what you’re talking about . The game of tennis is not good when you have guys that are past their primes still dominating. Most of these youngsters are just that. Mugs! Mugs! Mugs! Again go away and ignore the post next time around instead of being a smart mouth.
I was out doing stuff and checked the score..
HOLY SHEET. GOATkovic?
Oh no, he said "mug" again and 3 times ! I’m outraged ! You really have reading comprehension issues, don’t you ? Repeating the same thing over and over without understanding what I’m saying. Whatever, I’m done.
Tsitsipossum, mostly.
In the era of Nadal too. Crazy..Rome is now Djokovic's BEST M1000 tournament!
I don’t get this obsession with pretending that Nadal or Novak are playing badly. They may no longer be at their peaks but when they are on their level is very very high. They just don’t have the consistency to keep that same level throughout the year as they did in the pastLike calling 98 of top 100 players mugs? I'll think about it.![]()
lolDjokovic is playing well. But it's a day match tomorrow.
Tsitsipas in 3.
You don’t say…Tsitsipas in 2. Djoko's first real test and I wasn't really that impressed with what I saw against Auger and Ruud. If Djokovic has a really good day then he could possibly win it in 3 but most likely Tsitsipas in 2.
Its funny seeing you get so aggravated bc I remember how you pulled a punk move to get me temporarily banned from Djokovic News months ago...for a similar reason. It's a message board. People don't know **** and just talk out of their @$$. I don't know what led to this, but this confirms it's a problem with you.Oh no, he said "mug" again and 3 times ! I’m outraged ! Tennis won!Djokovic in better form but conditions are pro Tsitsipas so it's going to be a tight one hopefully Tsitsipas can win it in the end

Definitely has a case. However, I think the consensus for most is that Lendl (and/or Kuerten) is still ahead. Some would even put Lendl ahead if Djokovic wins another RG, but I would personally put Novak at 3rd in that case. Were does Djokovic rank in OE on clay now?
Does he have any case for as high as 3rd?
Some might say Mats as well because he has 3 RG's.Definitely has a case. However, I think the consensus for most is that Lendl (and/or Kuerten) is still ahead. Some would even put Lendl ahead if Djokovic wins another RG, but I would personally put Novak at 3rd in that case.
Yeah, some... though at least from the discussions I've had here, Wilander seems to be behind Novak for many as his wins/losses were less impressive than Novak's against Nadal, and Novak can somewhat make up for that 1 GS gap with his plethora M1000s.Some might say Mats as well because he has 3 RG's.
I am thinking 4th best more than 5th or 6th.Yeah, some... though at least from the discussions I've had here, Wilander seems to be behind Novak for many as his wins/losses were less impressive than Novak's against Nadal, and Novak can somewhat make up for that 1 GS gap with his plethora M1000s.

You don’t say…
Was nearly correct. Djokovic had a great day and match should have went to 3 (tsitsipas should have served it out)

No need to apologize because it's a completely legal and legitimate shot. I can't stand Tsits, but he was within his right to do it, here's that moment:Stefanos tried to hit Alcaraz at Barcelona and never apologized.
Trying to imply he could level with Borg?
No necessarily. But him being near Borg isn't as ridiculous as many make it out to be.Trying to imply he could level with Borg?
I have him 4th. Strong case for 3rd though. No necessarily. But him being near Borg isn't as ridiculous as many make it out to be.
I do believe below Lendl and the other 3 time RG champions is ridiculous, considering he played in the age of Nadal.

How is what the Greek did any different than these 2 shots from Djokovic, one of which actually hit Fed?
I agree with you, but plenty of people think Guga's peak level makes him greater than Djokovic. There's some threads relating to that premise, you can look for them.I'm sorry, I adored Guga, but how can you even mention them in the same sentence? The Brazilian does own one more RG title, but he was facing the likes of Norman and Corretja, and his window of excellence was very brief. Those were also his only three finals, whereas Djokovic has 6 in Paris. He also has double digit M1000 titles on clay (to Kuerten's 4) and a whopping SIX Rome titles, with TWELVE finals at the Foro Italico, which is historically the second most prestigious clay event in the world BY FAR.
