Something about Djokovic closing out the last two games on drop shots against 94 year old Wawrinka after being basically even in neutral rallies doesn't sit right with me.

He needs to respect the unwritten rules about playing old guys... My uncle's 3.0 league guys would give him a stern talking-to during the changeover.

It's shocking how Good Novak's forehand has become. There was a time when it was his weaker wing - and a weakness per se.
Right now his forehand is arguably as good (or better) than Federer and Nadal's.

This match was never going to be interesting. Prime Wawrinka was losing 6-2 6-1 to 2015 Nadal in masters. He probably finds BO3 too boring. In BO5 he still owns Djokovic.

Yes, 4-4 is ownage. Go back to your cave.

Felix will be the first real test for Novak in Rome.. Although, if he was able to almost beat an in-form Alcaraz last week, he should not have major problems.

Of course!

Stan has also won a staggering amount of the big matches. Just saying.

Goes to show what I was saying a few days ago that general h2h don't mean diddly if you've done it in slams. Good performance from Djokovic anyway, hard to say whether he is back to his best until he plays tougher opponents.

Very clinic FH performance from djokovic today..

Evil sharpening his FH right before the RG,.. de*th of tennis is near man
