He got away with it against nadal as well at times.
BWEH!!!!Rublev screams like something out of Aliens vs Predator lol
Fact one of these will be in a Slam Semi......
I know Tiafoe already did, my point stands.
Void Era.
Tiafoe in 5.
I don't think Tiafoe was in a slam semi before?
Hope tiafoe wins the slam, when was the last black male to win a slam.

Imagine if Tiafoe actually had a high 1st serve percentage.
Why am I thinking off the top of my head, Yannick Noah?
The answer ye seek is three posts above yours.![]()
True point. I do think alcaraz moves and returns better on hard courts than grass. On grass he couldn’t get anywhere near sinner serves.Alot will depend on Alcaraz return. At Wimbledon his return was awful. If he returns better he may win. Neither Tiafoe or Rublev have a prayer. This is the worse qf ive ever seen. Nadal losing is excusable as he wasnt fit but Norrie losing was shameful as he should have routined Rublev. Both are serving 2nd serves below 80mph.
He’s still holding easily that’s the crazy part. Nobody has made him pay.
Rublev is high strung and reverts to hitting wildly when under pressure. If Tiafoe can avoid a let down, I think this match is his to win.

I’ll answer the bunny snap quiz question: Yannick Noah 1983 RG. A Foe win also ends the American men’s drought (Roddick 2003 USO) at slams overall and home slam in particular.Hope tiafoe wins the slam, when was the last black male to win a slam.

Yeah sinner had come on a lot. His FH was lethal at Wimbledon to be fair. Will be a close one like.Yes Alcaraz is still very green on grass. Sinner has improved his FH out of site so its hard to know where to go and inthink he averages bigger groundies than Alcaraz.
His first serve today has been great so far, 75%.He is serving under 50 pct 1st serves and his 2nd is about 80mph. Alcaraz and Sinner will butcher that 2nd serve. Tiafoe is better than Rublev and i think can break top 10 for sure but cannot see him break the top 5.

Alcaraz was in position to challenge Sinner’s service games but was 0 for 7 on BPs. He was also 0 for 9 on BPs in the Umag final. He can return on any surface but his BP conversion rate is fedresque, not only vs Jannik.Yes Alcaraz is still very green on grass.
