I thought he played a good match, but he didn't play as well as some might think. Don't get me wrong - he was good, but Carlos Alcaraz also bailed him out at times. He also showed some nerves closing it out and had several match points.
He has the game to maybe push Novak Djokovic maybe even more than van Rijthoven did, but he'll have to raise his level of play for sure. Has to do better with his first serve as well - he steadily declined on that today. If Novak Djokovic serves decently and doesn't get loose with the FH, Sinner would probably at most get a set, IMHO. But.....you never know for sure - down to the QF's.
