Complete ****show. I been talking about alcaraz’ serve and now he has to fix that. He’s not consistent enough with his serve.

A lot people got carried away thinking Alcatraz is the new Nadal. He certainly isn’t while he’s still very good.
Comparing any new player and calling him equal to Nadal is an INSULT to the great champion and 22 slam winner.
I mean - really? Even with 100% extreme talent - Most people never achieve 20% of what Nadal did.
A LOT of things, including LUCK, need to be in place to win so much.

I’m not watching any tennis sadly, had to leave for the beach a bit earlier today. Is Alcaraz just playing **** or is this a masterclass from Sinner?
It's early days but you may be looking a little like this in an hour or two

It is over. Sinner held that game despite not finding a first serve.

Embarrassing stuff from Alcaraz. Congrats to Djokovic because Sinner is a mental midget under pressure with no weapons against Djokovic

Sinner is doing nothing special. He’s just more steady.
Alcaraz is doing a lot of the work for him but I didn't know Sinner could play at this level. I really didn't have a particularly high opinion of the guy up to this point. If he can take care of business here and then put in a decent showing in a potential QF against Djokovic I might have to reevaluate a bit.

Sinner peaking.. will knock out Novak and bend to nadal in the final..
Just stop with the predictions of Novak/Nadal losing. They are always the favorite unless proven otherwise.
Perhaps you missed the thread on Novak's INVINCIBILITY? On grass - Novak is harder to beat than anyone after Pete Sampras.

I don't want to hear a word about Djokovic's "tough" draw. Somehow he has it even easier than last year.

Yeah, he is going to win 10-12 Wimbledon titles at least. He just has to show up.

Please help me understand, why you think Alcaraz was a danger to Novak? What has he EVER shown that makes you believe he will beat Novak at slam level?
Is it the 3 set victory at Madrid?
Because Sonego, RBA, Kachanov etc etc also beat Novak in BO3. Will they beat him in slams?
I'm genuinely curious, because I like your posts.

He would lay an egg against novak.

Djokovic will win 10 wimbledons with this field.ً This generation will never stop disappointing. When you think a potential ATG is around the corner, they drop a mental midget performance

Hearing Hewitt on commentary is softening the blow of Alcaraz getting his ass beat a little.

Honestly, he just has to show up. This is without doubt the worst and most predictable slam now. And to think some used to cry about clay competition being weak.

If Sinner can beat Novak and reach the final, no reason why he should bend his knee to Nadal, it will be Nadal who will be bending his knee in that case.
Lets not underestimate people born in the new millenium, they are 14-15+ years younger to the Big 3, this is their decade.

2 of the best young players in the world are playing a match on Centre Court at Wimbledon and people just can’t help but talk about Novak or Nadal. SMH.
Can't blame them considering that these 2 win 90% of the slams.

Sure, some matches are nice, but the final result doesn't change.

Is... Sinner not also a prospect from the same generation?

Yea. Looking ahead to a potential QF, putting Nadal in the final, handing Djokovic the title when he's in the 4th round, etc. Can we just watch and comment on this match?

Djokovic will destroy sinner. One thing about novak is that he will give sinner a lot of different looks. He won’t make dumb mistakes either.

You have to have faith in your man then. I thought Nadal will likely be Djokovic toughest test if the final happens. Still a way to go though

We all know that this match is played for the right to get blown by Djokovic in straight sets in the next round. So not surprising people aren't excited about it.

Alcaraz has all the tools except it seems shot tolerance/I was basing my point on mentality and confidence at 19.

I’ve seen him overcome tough matches and players in tight sets/games. He beat Nadal and Djokovic back to back in Madrid which only a couple other players on tour could manage. And he was only stopped by a peaking Zverev in RG who took Nadal to the brink in the semifinal (miracle tiebreak from Nadal).
