Rafa looked sick against Berankis, played terrible even though opponent mugged away like a top 1000 journey man
Berretini, Agut and Cilic would have noticed Nadal looking off color and weirdly only taking 10 seconds to serve!
He wanted to get out of there quickly.

He’s essentially untouchable when he’s in the zone like this. The only thing you can do is hope he misses. Djoko is done.
Man - Alcaraz won't get a set vs Novak. You heard it here first.
Also he might lose to Isner or Sinner next round.

Alcaraz has a 125mph+ serve with excellent placement. He also has a Nadal like 1-2 punch with his forehand.

Djokovic is going to need his A game
And Novak is playing his A game. Which is why Alcaraz will likely be slaughtered.
Also Alcaraz might lose in R4 to sinner or Isner. He hasn't made Qf even if he wins this match.

He’s serving BIGGER than Djokovic, hitting bigger and better forehands, coming to the net like peak Rafter, better speed, better drop shots, he does it all.

novak has a slightly better return and their backhands are equal. That’s about it.
Man Alcaraz is already on trouble on serve.
I think Sinner will beat Alcaraz next round. He won't even get to Novak in QF.

His serve is incredibly bullyable.

Novak's return is slightly better?!o_O

Have you been on the sauce, my friend?!

Exactly this. Alcaraz is doing every thing Djokovic does but also what Nadal does. I don’t see him fumbling in the Djokovic match, unlike his peers he’s got a strong mental game. Look at their Madrid match when he just blew Djokovic off the court.

And volleying like peak Rafter. Lol. Guess @Kralingen never saw peak Rafter playing.

Rafter could volley better with his wrong hand than Alcaraz would do with both hands combined.

his 130mph serve is bullyable? the one that served 40 aces in the first two matches?

I think the comparison with him and '06 Nadal needs to be stopped. Yeah, young Nadal was a phenom but he was ultimately beatable due to his lack of power.

The comparison needs to be between Alcaraz and '08 NADAL. Rafa bit better movement and defense, but he never served this well.

I like Otte and feel sorry for him but he’s going to be blown off court in no time. Very unlucky to come up against Alcaraz

So you think Alcaraz at 19 has a higher ceiling than Nadal at 19?

2008 WImbledon Rafa had better FH, BH and passing shots . Alcaraz is better than 2006 Rafa though in almost every aspects except Defense.
