That was partially Nadal's fault for letting him dictate tbf. If Cerundolo had been up against a guy capable of suffocating him on return and hitting with authority from the baseline he never would have been able to take the initiative or play as confidently in the first place. Nadal was so passive yesterday.

Novak does look very dialed in regardless. A better player wouldn't be as rushed off the oncoming ball, Kokk's set up footwork has been pretty woeful and it's screwing with his timing, but the Novak depth is there.

Both. Djokovic looks very dialled in on the return and hitting with a lot more authority than he did from the baseline in R1, but Kokkinakis is spraying errors. Big step up from Djokovic compared to the Kwon match though.
