He’s the favorite for sure but nadal always plays djokovic tough and they have only played twice on grass here. Novak is 2-0 but nadal took him to 5 sets in their last matchup. This is not the same
Novak from years ago
A match thread wouldn't be a match thread without the vast differences in takes on a match, especially when it's a member of the big three playing.Yes he was what. What you talking about. He wasn’t an UE machine like the aussie right here now.
I wanted to think about the Kokkinakis from the Federer match but what we got instead is an impostor who can't string 2 shots togetherI can't believe these poll results...
Trolling, wishful thinking or just utter cluelessness about pro tennis?
Or did people imagine that Kokk copy-pasted the Kyrgios?
That was partially Nadal's fault for letting him dictate tbf. If Cerundolo had been up against a guy capable of suffocating him on return and hitting with authority from the baseline he never would have been able to take the initiative or play as confidently in the first place. Nadal was so passive yesterday. He was a lot better
And this is why Kokk's career has been a joke so far...
I mean, compared to his potential.
Literally. Kokkinakis is embarrassing himself. Kwon did way better. The errors by Thanasi are pathetic. Why is there a thread for this match?
How? He wasn't even expected to win a set.Kokkinakis you're a big disappointment!

Djokovic's opponent banged Stan's... Never mind. Why is there a thread for this match?
It's better than what he's achieved so far, easily. His potential is imaginary.
Both. Can someone tell me what happened in the first set? Did Djokovic play good or Kokk was a disaster? Or both?
Can someone tell me what happened in the first set? Did Djokovic play good or Kokk was a disaster? Or both?
Both. Djokovic looks very dialled in on the return and hitting with a lot more authority than he did from the baseline in R1, but Kokkinakis is spraying errors. Big step up from Djokovic compared to the Kwon match though. Can someone tell me what happened in the first set? Did Djokovic play good or Kokk was a disaster? Or both?
Novak returning and hitting well, Kokk can't string together two decent points. Can someone tell me what happened in the first set? Did Djokovic play good or Kokk was a disaster? Or both?

Novak definitely better than R1. Kokk is not playing the good tennisCan someone tell me what happened in the first set? Did Djokovic play good or Kokk was a disaster? Or both?
MuryGOATDjok has raised his level quite a bit. I can't just say this is all on the Kokk.
Not a good sign for his half. Then again, aside from maybe Alcaraz, the rest are mugs of the highest order who would probably have lost to Novak even in his Kwon form.
mee too, so beautiful, for sure better than clay, plus that unequalled magic, even yesterday match with serena had that magic rg doesn't have, so harmonic it wasI love grass.
He's incapable of bending his knees lol.How many unforced errors does Kokkinakis want to hit? This is utterly embarrassing.
Not tightly fought of course but not a breadstick and a player who is hitting unforced errors left, right and centre. This is cringe.Come on though people did you really expect Djokovic to play at R1 level for the rest of the tournament? What's the last notable thing Kokkinakis has done on a singles court? I really don't get why so many people expected this to be so tightly fought.
If that's what you want to believe fine. Kokkinakis plays at a shockingly bad level though.Brutal level from the Earth's Mightiest Warrior.
Djokovic has a challenger level draw, so he will not have to play anyone better. If that's what you want to believe fine. Kokkinakis plays at a shockingly bad level though.
