Nadal will have a scan. He’ll pull out if there’s a tear. I would prefer he pulls out and gets himself fit for US. He has a great chance given the play he’s shown since his foot operation
Ironically a tilde is not the same as an acute / aigu. Although tbh I had to look up that the aigu is called "acute" in the US.“Porque” in that sentence is not written with tilde, so write properly if you like to write in other languages.
I actually wrote tilde as a Spanish word. I should have written that word in italics because of that.Ironically a tilde is not the same as an acute / aigu. Although tbh I had to look up that the aigu is called "acute" in the US.
Haha, incredible! Umbelleebable almost. In English a 'tilde' is specifically this: ~ But it seems like in Spanish languages "tilde" meansI actually wrote tilde as a Spanish word. I should have written that word in italics because of that.
I don’t know how to say that word in English, maybe because there are not tildes in English.
Tilde in Spanish is the same symbol as l’accent aigu in French, though they represent different things.Haha, incredible! Umbelleebable almost. In English a 'tilde' is specifically this: ~ But it seems like in Spanish languages "tilde" means "anything above letters". Live and learn. I hope. Anyway, back on topic, can't wait for this match. Although sadly I doubt I'll be up at 5:30am Pacific on Friday.
He’s had a scan. we’re gonna find out quite soon what the injury is or notNadal will play, this is all to add to the drama we have seen this all before

I am getting tired of having to explain my crystal clear posts.
He was already carrying a tear since 1st day with patches on his abs and all tears heal in 5-6 weeks so it won't make it any worse if he plays.
Yes, I prefer whining to explaining something obvious. You ain’t explaining anything but whining.
It’s probably not even a big tear. The guy’s gonna play and i will be shocked if he pulls out and doesn’t give it a go.
Maybe I just saw it in a sueño, but I could swear I've seen another symbol above letters in Spanish words. Añyway! I'm clearly out of my depth here, and way off topic. Adios amigo, gracias por educarme.Tilde in Spanish is the same symbol as l’accent aigu in French, though they represent different things.
Spanish has only one other sign above letters called diéresis, as in pingüino.
The Astérix are already there.
Yes, you’re right. I forgot considering that sign over the letter n, which forms another letter, the ñ.Maybe I just saw it in a sueño, but I could swear I've seen another symbol above letters in Spanish words. Añyway! As nobody apologized to us for discussing who was better between Nadal and Federer in this Nadal vs Kyrgios match thread, I don’t feel obliged to apologize for discussing Spanish spelling.... and apologies to those who had to make the effort to skip this sidetrack.
Is coming home, sudacafan! If Norrie deserves a GS final, there are dozens of other players who also do.
You're right, the rush to write immediately made me write it the wrong way, though that's no excuse.“Porque” in that sentence is not written with tilde, so write properly if you like to write in other languages.
Kinda ridiculous. Bookies just keep underrating Rafa these days. No wonder @Kralingen has that Lambo on layaway.Kyrgios slightly favored (through 118 votes, 60-58). Interesting.
Bookies are really scared of Rafa's injuries. That is the only plausible explanation for the joke lines he's gotten both in matches and in futures.Kinda ridiculous. Bookies just keep underrating Rafa these days. No wonder @Kralingen has that Lambo on layaway.
Edit: Whoops, you were talking about the poll. But bookies also have Nick favored from what I’ve seen.
The last time he beat Nick without dropping a set was 2017 and Kyrgios came through relatively unscathed in less than 2 hours while Nadal is almost a deaths door. There's logic to it in a few aspects though I'd still have Nick as the outsiderBookies are really scared of Rafa's injuries. And to be fair, watching today, it looked like the bookies got it spot on. He is literally one step away from catastrophe in every match.
On the other hand, I think they clearly underrate his will to win and improvisation with his back against the wall. Also... I think Cotorro will have him fit and firing for the SF, just a hunch of mine. The bookies don't take into account the extra day of rest which is HUGE for Rafa at this age.
Like zoom out a bit. Nick Kyrgios is the favorite to take 3 sets from Rafa in a Slam SF? Really? Even a less than 100% Rafa?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a close matchup and Kyrgios knows how to play Rafa well. The last time he beat Nick without dropping a set was 2017 and Kyrgios came through relatively unscathed in less than 2 hours while Nadal is almost a deaths door. Lesser player at the USO? That’s some strong stuff you’re smoking.Fed was the lesser player in their matches on AO and was also the lesser player at US Open let’s be honest.
Of course he made damn sure to make everyone aware of his imaginjury. It's a win-win scenario for him. Especially when there ware prospects of playing Fritz, Nick, Djoker, back to back.He was already carrying a tear since 1st day with patches on his abs and all tears heal in 5-6 weeks so it won't make it any worse if he plays.

He learned it from Rafa. Difference is that Rafa had lost that OG match, so he could use it only as an excuse. Novak won, so his is classified as a distraction.Well like your Eastern European God healed 25 mm tear with in 48 days magically?lmao you EE fans are absolutely cringe and hilarious.

We are still to find out if the current Rafa's would become an excuse, or remain a distraction.
Lmao this, lmao that... Won the RG with bery, bery sore foot.Lmao difference is your Serbian hero can magically win the whole tournaments with 25mm while Rafa never won any tournament with such injury. Lmao you Belgrade brigade have reached another delusion then wonder why noone likes him outside your Eastern Europe.
Lmao, reported for racism.Well, since you are a EE Novac fan so not much educated. There's difference between injury and disorder. Name a tournament where Rafa won with a tear or injury, just one ?? Only your Serbian God can do that , what a faker he is, faking injury , faking niceness ,faking everything then you guys cry whey noone loves our Serbian Hero. Lmao.
Lmao, reported for racism.
Rafa uses the imajinjuries as preemptive excuse and distraction. When he wins with them, it boosts his warrior/superhuman image.
Sometimes he fabricates them after the fact, though.
Racism is a prejudiced opinion based on race/nationality. "EE so not much educated" fits just fine. There's a bit of education for you...What racism?
why?The Astérix are already there.

When have I showed hate I just drop truth bombs that snow flakes can’t handle the poster in question has posted xenophobic nonsense should be bannedAnd you're not a hater? U r a hater first then a fan(if u r even)
It's one thing to be a fan or a hater of a player, another thing is to dehumanise a whole fanbase like that guy is doing with every other post. According to the guy all the Djokovic fans are Serbians, thus uneducated, neanderthals, nutjobs, antivaxxxers, conspiracy theorists and what else not. If that's not racism, then I don't know what it is.And you're not a hater? U r a hater first then a fan(if u r even)
Kyrgios is going to do everything that Fritz wouldn't/couldn't. Unlike Fritz, he is not going to hit to Nadal's FH. Kyrgios has the slices, drop shots, off speed shots to hurt Nadal, make him run and wear him out. If he really has some sort of injury, Kyrgios could win this in straight sets
Nadal will have a scan. He’ll pull out if there’s a tear. I would prefer he pulls out and gets himself fit for US. He has a great chance given the play he’s shown since his foot operation
Man, I want someone other than Djokovic and Nadal to win, but that would be depressing.Cameron Norrie of Great Britain vs Nick Kyrgios of Australia in the Wimbledon final on Sunday.
The ratings will be good in UK and Australia at least.
Where have you seen this before? At your idol?Nadal will play, this is all to add to the drama we have seen this all before
