Looks like Kasatkina May crap the bed in this game to stay in match. She was so nervous last service game.
Thats really going to hurt for her.Good call. Crap the bed she did.
It would not have gone well for Kasatkina. Daria was the original Rafan, and Iga would have taken that personally and double breadsticked her. Will we have an all Rafa-fan Rome finale?
Swiatek and Kasatkina are super-fans.
Let's hope you're right. That was a very different Swiatek, who is now a lot more aggressive. It may not be 6-0, 6-0 like Swiatek's win last year, but Swiatek is the solid favorite.
I didn't know that but I suspect it will make Swiatek do her preperation even more studiously.
I think Swiatek wins in straights but let's see what Jabeur has left.
So I decided to check out this final to see what the fuss is about.
I don't wanna say the match is terrible
But it's terrible
Always happy to provide some perspective from a neutral fan.thank you for the input.
I laugh to myself every time they post that Iga’s last loss was to Ostapenko. Of course it was.
Shabalenka was apparently injured.Just saw the highlights of Swiatek vs Sabalenka. Atleast 1st set was somewhat competitive. 2nd set was just too dominant by Swiatek. Sabalenka might have got bagelled. was broken multiple times and had to save BP in the only game she held
With today’s win, Iga is up to 28 matches winning streak (or 26 if not counting the BJK Cup). Venus holds the record at 35.

Iga beat Sabalenka already 3 times, Sakkari twice, and counting.Venus' record is only for the year 2000 and onward. Navratilova holds the winning streak record at a ridiculous 74 straight wins, more than double what Venus achieved Venus. Martina even beat Evert 6 times during that win streak.
