The high backhand volley is always a nightmare. Even for beasts like him. If it's close, the first instinct is pray it sails...Why the hell would you leave that??
it's break point down wtf?
Braindead from Alcaraz. Could've easily volleyed that for a winner
He's fine. Will still choke.Scare for Zverev. Hope he’s okay.
Yeah with Z until match point is played and won, I doubt he can winHe's fine. Will still choke.
This is true. Thankfully he’s okay. It’s great to see him get back to this decent high level after everything he went throughZverev has been an underrated beast at YEC over the years. He loves these conditions.
Why are they wearing socks on the grass?
All he has to do is get first serves in and it's a wrap. Alcaraz used to get deep in opponent serve games on the regular, now he can't return worth a damn anymore seemingly. He's fine. Will still choke.
Zverev has had too many matches where he is serving for the win only to choke, REALLY hoping he can get this one done.
But the strange thing with Zverev is that he usually has better nervers against good players. I remember how often I hoped for a late choke against Federer, but it never came. Also in his wins against Djokovic he held his nerves very decently. But on the other hand he can always choke against a total nobody.Zverev has had too many matches where he is serving for the win only to choke, REALLY hoping he can get this one done.
What happened to Raz suddenly? He was legit unbeatable and winning Queens and Wimby back to back despite no grass experience. Bit perplexing ..he is supposed to dominate these guys given earlier promise. I suspect injuries…this guy is legit big 3 heir.Z did his best to choke but that first serve is just monstrous.
Deserved victory
Raz is nowhere near the level required.
I don't even recognize this player we've seen the last few months.Z did his best to choke but that first serve is just monstrous.

Hopefully TTW experts don’t call him a mug nowFeeling the pressure of being the one chased. I think he’s also downplaying some nagging injuries. These young guys seem to not want to let them heal completely. He’s only 20, he’ll get there again.
Makes you really think if he’ll actually live up to the billing. My personal estimate is 4-5 slams unless he drastically improves his serve and learns to play smarter tennis. This just won’t cut it, in the long run.Alcaraz loses again. It has been steady downhill for him since Wimbledon.
