Murrrray goat!!! Oh wow
Would be awesome to see Murray advance to the SF playing 5 sets every timeSo many comments on this dull procession between Painkillerovic and a lost gen lost gen’ing hard, you all need to switch this off and go and watch the GOAT doing his thing on the other court ASAP
He most likely won't since he's too competitive. Federer said to hell with RG once he reached Djokovic's age that he is now. Lol.Djoko probably won’t think like that. As just giving up RG is just probably gifting a slam to Rafa. Unless a youngster breaks through which I still doubt yet.
Problem is hamstrings often don't heal that well if you injure them severely enough. A lot of top athletes (especially soccer players) are never really the same after a tear (which is the form of hamstring injury that would be required in order to keep Novak out until Wimbledon), so you wouldn't want to play through that. Not that you'd be able to anyway because if it got to that level of severity then the decision to play wouldn't be in your hands because you'd be unable to move, so there's no danger of him being out for an extended period, whatever happens here. This is clearly a minor strain. I think he just needs maybe a full week to two weeks off for it to heal completely, which isn't long but at the same time isn't a luxury that he's going to be afforded at a slam.Absolutely 100% ageee with this. If you have to sit it out until Wimbledon, take the risk. This draw opening up like this doesn't happen often. Have to go for it and hope for the best.

noAnyone able to find this on prime?
Yea it's a minor strain. It just isn't getting any better because he's not letting it rest and heal, like you said. As long as he's not at risk of causing a tear, I say play through it. It can't be very serious if he's willing to play through it.Problem is hamstrings often don't heal that well if you injure them severely enough. RG is months away anyway. He will be fine by then. The concept of ending or even skipping a Slam to be fit for another one sounds "smart" for some people, but it's rather baseless speculation. You can lose both Slams then, just like you may even win both when you take a "risk".I say if he has to risk RG, go for it. Let Nadal and the youngsters duke it out. RG is not a priority at this point in his career. This Slam is much more important.
Just holding my breath almost every shot Dimi hits cos so many of them sail into the netSo many comments on this dull procession between Painkillerovic and a lost gen lost gen’ing hard, you all need to switch this off and go and watch the GOAT doing his thing on the other court ASAP
he wants to give them confidence that they might have a chance...and change the momentum-Djokovic, the only player to take MTOs and fake injuries when he is winning to disrupt the opponent's rhythm.
Wounded djoko gets the break.
Yea it's the AO, his best Slam. You have to take the risk and go for it as long as you're not at risk of a tear or something. With this draw, you have to.RG is months away anyway. I hated it when Federer skipped RG 2017 and don't believe for a second he wouldn't have won Wimbledon otherwise, as great as his was on grass that year. I don't like such an approach anyway, so I was almost happy to some degree that it didn't work in 2018, so that he was back on the clay in 2019.

I agree. I dunno how he does. Incredible mentality. His will to win is unparalleled.
Amidst 15 UE or so this setGrigor hit impressive ROS winner.
In team sports, players play all the time with minor to moderate hamstring issues. The problem is that they play worse than usual when they do that and sometimes they pull up with a more serious injury.Problem is hamstrings often don't heal that well if you injure them severely enough. Thats outrageous...can find it on laptop but for the life on me not on the tv. Worst app ever raging at 10am on a Sat geez
He'll win this in 19 hours. Then he'll win the next match until February and finish his QF match by next year's edition. You guys watching Murray put RBA on string? Lol
Wait, what country are you in?Thats outrageous...can find it on laptop but for the life on me not on the tv. Worst app ever raging at 10am on a Sat geez
Yeah I agree. It's definitely worth playing on here. I thought after the second set against Couacaud that it would continue to deteriorate so I was in two minds about it at that point but he's clearly able to run pretty hard when required and it doesn't look like it's going to get a whole lot worse than it has been for these past two matches. He'll regret not giving it his best shot against this wasteland of a field.Yea it's a minor strain. It just isn't getting any better because he's not letting it rest and heal, like you said. That’s great you can mind read.So much toxicity in this thread. I honestly believe for a lot of Nadal fans if they were granted just one wish it wouldn't be for continued good health for their loved ones or a lottery win or world peace but simply for Djokovic to not win this year's Australian Open. I mean how sad is that?!![]()
Damn it.Djokovic in 3 sets. 7:6 6:4 6:1, something like that.
If Novak pulls this out…that’s going to be a challenge. The winner to face speed demon in the next round...
Will win the AO just like he did with his tear.Djoko gets 2nd set. Really gruelling match for his hamstring though. He’s surging somehow due to his mentality.
If you're in the UK, you can get AO coverage by getting the additional Discovery+ package it looks like.Thats outrageous...can find it on laptop but for the life on me not on the tv. Worst app ever raging at 10am on a Sat geez
