Tommy's strategy is very clear, serve and volley as much as possible to make Alcaraz guess on how to return, and during the rally, hit down the middle, and take away the angles and passing shots.

It's looking more and more like Alcaraz went to the same 'School of Water Bottle Placement' as Nadal.
He's very precise!

Seen enough that Alcaraz is the big favourite for us open. He can just go to another insane level when he needs it.

Tommy Paul played as well as he could but once Alcaraz stopped making the errors it was over.

Alcaraz having Ferrero back in box means he’s more focused too

Carlos is clutch. Paul was serving for the first set, but then was buzz-sawed by Carlos to extend out the set. Carlos then squeaked out the tiebreaker.

This kid has ice water in his veins. He's what Leo Borg was supposed to be.

Vamos! Trademark FH dropper for the decisive final minibreak

1/7 BP conversion vs 1/1 is a very particular kind of luck :p
That's just one aspect of the match. Paul got the early break and held it to 5-2 and then Paul was up a mini-break twice in the tiebreaker. Alcaraz basically trailed the entire set until near the end.
