Sorry but the running from one side of the court over and over and over reminds me so much of young Rafa.

Sure injuries can derail achievements for great talented players.

Fed was the second best FO clay court player losing only to Nadal.
5 finals!!! - 4x runner up and 1-time winner over Soderling.
Let's stop underplaying Fed's greatness on clay.

Djokovic - 6 finals; 4 runner-ups and 2 wins is the 2nd best now by a close margin.

Yeah he also must be taking some pills for those drop shots and tennis IQ

Alcaraz is on fire right now, but there's no chance he bagels current Djokovic. That serve & return combo is still way too strong to get broken more than twice in a single set.

Nadal we have no idea about though. We don't know what kind of shape he's in.

I agree, Taylor played a good game, it's just that the opponent was far better.

Taylor is one of my favorite player, I watch lots of his matches, and today he was playing good, and a lot of times
was playing all or nothing, because with top players you have to raise your level.
Trouble is that Taylor is not good enough.

Taylor is top 10, whereas Alcaraz is #1, we have to face the facts.

I haven't seen some level of "tennis IQ" that stands out compared to other highly ranked players. And as much as that is a real thing, it's still not the most complicated sport in terms of tactics. The guy is super fit and not afraid to go for crazy shots (which he seems to be hitting more often than not lately). Let's not make it into something more than it is.

It's almost like people forget that a hobbled Nadal beat an in-form Alcaraz at Indian Wells, just last year.

If you think that then im sorry but you dont know a lot about tennis, tennis iq is about the intelligence and quickness making decisions depending where you stand on the court, if you think alcaraz is just power, then you aint got a clue

Did you watch the kid at 15? I did, he played just the same, and was beating 30 years old at challengers, was he under heavy doping then?

What is obvious is that you don't know anything at all about that murky business.

If you knew something, you'd know that nobody under 22 yo would take the staff you are insinuating.. because that produces
stunt growth, doctors can give him or anyone under 22 other things but not what you are insinuating.

When you say that kind of things, you come across like an ignoramus, and only other ignoramus like you will agree.

Do yourself a favor, do some research before posting that kind of accusations.

Honestly, some of these ridiculous comments are the reason why there is push back on Alcaraz.

Maybe you didn't notice that Sinner beat Alcaraz twice last year, including at win at Wimbledon? Maybe you forgot that their epic USO match was super tight, and easily could have gone the other way?

Yeah, he gets into a position where there is a tiny window for a potentially amazing shot, and he goes for it. Everybody sees that. But some people don't think that makes him some sort of genius, he's just got guts and the skills to frequently pull it off.

A lot of the other "amazing" points he plays involve amazing gets. He's great at chasing balls down. But that doesn't take brains either. My dog is REALLY good at chasing balls down.

Yeah, he gets into a position where there is a tiny window for a potentially amazing shot, and he goes for it. Everybody sees that. But some people don't think that makes him some sort of genius, he's just got guts and the skills to frequently pull it off.
