2023 RG QF :- Novak Djokovic v/s Karen Khachanov

Ok, here we go.
Its a 3rd consecutive slam Quarter final for the Russian, while 7th consecutive for the Serb.
Djokovic leads the h2h by 8-1 with the only win for Karen back in 2018 at Paris Masters final.
Do you think Djokovic can be troubled here?
Or will it be a straightforward victory for him just as their previous match at RG back in 2020?

My personal opinion :- Novak will be troubled for a set or even 2 sets, but his clutch will pull him out of that trouble just as it did in that Fokina match, and the 3rd set (or last 2 sets) will be a blowout.

I also believe that Djokovic will struggle for a set or 2 but will manage to win in 4 sets.

Khachanov while he's not a world beater, has shown significant improvements the last few months or so.

Even last year in Belgrade, when Novak was truly woeful, like worst level of the last 4 years level bad. He still beat Khachanov pretty easily.

Yeah this won’t be in doubt. I do trust Karen to get to a TB or two and even grab a set, but the issue for him is he cannot elevate his game any further. That extra gear is where you beat Djokovic, he cannot operate at that level.
